Fresh Air & Exhaust Air Louvers
Introduction
KMC Fresh Air Louver is a simple form of filter
louver. It is composed of an Exhaust louver
combined with Aluminium filter fixed at the back.
The fresh air louver is used to supply fresh air to
the buildings or Air Handling Units (AHU).
The filter is made from washable aluminium
media and is fixed on the back side of the louver.
Insulating gasket is fixed around the back of the
frame to prevent infiltration between the frame
and the wall.
Application
• Louvers are used for, both, air intake and air
exhaust
• Used in building internal and external
applications for the intake of fresh air or
exhaust of contaminated air.
• Weather resistant and suitable for us in
external applications
Product Features
• Frame and Blade Constructed from 1.2mm
thick extruded aluminum alloy 6063-T6
profiles.
• Fixed Louvers arranged horizontally and
inclined down to 45°
• Suitable for external walls as well as screens
• Frame Flange width 30mm
• High free Area hence lower pressure drop
Options
• Maximum single section upto 2000mm in
height and 2000mm in width
• For larger sizes, multiple sections possible.
• Can by supplied with various insect and bird
screens
• Optional – complete with Aluminum Pre-filters
and Volume Control Dampers if required
• Powder Coated to RAL 9010 as standard
• Other powder coated Finishes available.
• Formed Aluminum Construction with 1.6 and
2.0mm thick
Selection Procedure
The proper selection of Louver depends on
following three basic criteria:

• Select Unit size based on desired performance characteristics.
• Water penetration
• Select Finish.
• Resistance to Air flow
