Oct 10 1997 - Wickhurst

A family of 4 lived in a small town called "Wickhurst".


Richard Whitaker was a Forestry Inspector and the oldest of their family.
Margaret Whitaker, wife of Richard was very sick those days.
They had two children, "Lucy Whitaker" and "Ethan Whitaker".
Lucy was 9 years old and Ethan was 3 years old.

Lucy doesn't talk much but loves her brother very much.
Ethan loves drawing and playing with none living objects and sometimes starts
talking with them.

One day Richard receives a mail from the government that says that he and his
family will have to move to another town "Ashvale" because the government was
planning to destroy their house and make a research facility.
Richard moves to Ashvale next week with his family. But Ashvale was a creepy town
where people never talk to eachother, and that town has no children.
They got a old house from government very cheaply.
When they entered the house, everything was normal, all rooms were clean and walls
were freshly painted, nothing seemed off.
After some days, Lucy noticed that there was a tree at the backyard of her
house , but the strange thing was that there wasn't any way to go there, and it was
visible from outside of the house.
She noticed that the tree leaves changes their patter everyday and the number of
branches increase or decrease everyday.
Sometimes the tree turns into a plant and sometimes it loses it's all leaves.
She never tried to tell about this to her parents, and she started making its
drawing everyday to confirm her doubt.
One day she sees that her brother is sitting under the tree and eating something,
she tell her mother about that but her mother says that "He's just playing with the
tree, nothing's wrong about it". When Lucy tells her that the backyard isn't
connected to their house, she just ignored her and fallen asleep.
Lucy tries to go to the backyard by jumping from the window, but she notice that
her brother isn't there anymore and he is sleeping with her mother.
One day she called her brother but he didn't listened she calls him again and again
but no response, she tells her parents about that and they started searching for
him. When they didn't found him, they called cops for help. Later some time, they
heard siren noises but no cops showed up.
The next day, they found Ethan sleeping on his bed, her mother quickly hugged him
but he punched her at heart so hard that she got unconscious.
There wasn't any hospital in that town so they couldn't get her to hospital.
Ethan was acting weirdly, he wasn't eating anything except some tree leaves that
flew in with wind.
That night Lucy sees a human face on the tree trunk, smiling at her. She closed
window real quick but that face kept smiling at her.
Few days later, Ethan went missing once again. They thought that he'll come back
after sometime but he didn't.
That night when Lucy looks at that tree, the face was smiling and CHEWING
something, and it was her younger brother.
