PRACTICAL -1
TOPIC-Rajnikant has created a detailed report on education in India using
the library office writer tool. He has styled the document well by
inserting proper paragraph and section headings. His colleague
Murugan advised him to insert a table of content that will give a
complete glimpse of his report help Rajnikanth to insert table of
content with a green background.

 To insert the Table of content he should follow the


following steps-
1. Place the cursor on the place he wants to insert table of content.
2. Click on insert and then select ‘Table of contents and index’ and
then ‘Table of contents,index or bibliography dialog box’.

3. From Table of content window click on background sub tab and


select green color.
4. Click Ok the TOC will get inserted.
PRACTICAL -2
Topic-Venkat has created a document in India's trade view review full
show he wants 2 of his friends Rinky and Sujoy to review his document
and if required, add comments to it. But none of them know how to use
the track changes feature of writer. Help them to complete the task.

 Venkat should follow the following steps to share his


documents to his friends by using track changes feature-
1. Select VIEW>TOOLBARS>TRACK CHANGES

 To start and end recording follow the steps-


1. To start recording changes click Edit>Track Changes>Record.
2. To stop recording changes click Edit>Track Changes>Record.
 To add comments follow the given steps-
1. Click INSERT COMMENT button a comment will get inserted
on right side of the window .
2. Type the comment.
3. Click anywhere on document to activate it.
PRACTICAL -3
Topic- Anushka and niaz have been made the class representative.
Anushka has been asking to collect the class assignments for the various
subjects. Create a spreadsheet to show the roll number, name of students
and subject name. Perform the following operations so that niaz can
access the file.

1. Enable track changes.


2. Add comments to show the date on which the assignment has
been submitted.

 To do the following operations follow the given steps-


1. Create the spreadsheet by entering data.

2. To enable Track Changes click on TOOLS>SHARE


SPREADSHEET then Click ok in share document dialog
window after removing check mark to share spreadsheet.

3. Click TRACK CHANGES>RECORD under EDIT to start


recording and do the same to stop recording.
4. To add comments for showing date of submission click on cell
you want to add comments for and click
INSERT>COMMENT.

5. Type the date in comment box and click Enter and the comment
will get inserted.
PRACTICAL -4
Topic- Uzair manages a boys hostel in an engineering college. To manage
the records of the people staying in his hostel, he created a database
with the following related tables.

 Create a Query that displays total monthly rent collected for each
category.
 Create a form for the data entry of both the tables.
 Generate a report that displays information retrieved from both the
Queries in a presentable manner

3. Query to display Required Information in tabular format.
