Innovations In Education
What works, What doesn’t, and What to do about it?
Innovations in Education are regarded, along with
the education system, within the context of a societal
supersystem demonstrating their interrelations and
interdependencies at all levels. Raising the quality and
scale of innovations in education will positively affect
education itself and benefit the whole society.
As Sir Joji Linaugo said, a teacher should not be
confined to the old -fashioned teaching style alone. He
must continue to create and find other ways to
improved education.
After watching the video clip about Chotukool, I
thought it would be easy to find ways to teach. But
sadly, it was not. Teachers must make sure that this
styles will be liked and suit to our learners interest. Let
us remember that the person who is not interested
does not learn.

collaboration in a team . When we work together, we

I am HOPEFUL. Because through this


Innovation in Education it inspires, motivates,
encourages us teachers and students to move
forward, explore and use all the tools to uncover
something new. It involves a new and different
way of looking at problems and solving them. The
thinking process that goes into it will help
students develop their creativity and their
problem solving skills. In this way, success in
education is very possible.

As Steven Sutantro, teacher in Jakarta Barat,


Indonesia, said, "Innovation in education is about
more than just technology. It's about how you
can use technology to empower students to
become lifelong learners who are agents of
change,"

Therefore, one thing is for sure. Innovation


has a very important place in education. It
aims to improve the existing instructional

I learned a lot. Life is changing, System is


changing, World is changing. But there is one
thing that is important most , every teacher must
be an Innovative teachers . A teacher who not
only taught in the book but allow her students to
explore their own creative potential. A Teacher
who makes her student enjoys opportunities to
learn new things and are not afraid to take risks
in learning and teaching. And a Teacher who do
not view mistakes as failures, but as
opportunities to grow and try again.

In conclusion, innovation is of vital


importance in transforming and reconstructing
the learning environments along with the
curricula, the role of the teacher and teacher
training. In today's world, people have now
acquired full citizenship to the knowledge society.
