At school yesterday in third block we had a guest speaker in our classroom.

His name was Officer


Gary Weaver and was a very nice and funny man. He had many interesting stories to tell about his time
on the FBI Child Protection Task Force. The story he told us was very really interesting and what also
caught my attention was the severity of the crimes at hand.

First, I wanted to share my favorite story he told us and that was the baby from Indiana on the
facebook market. A few years ago, I believe he said, he got a report from a woman in bridgeport on
facebook about a suspicious ad. The reports stated she saw an ad about a baby on sale from all the way
in Indiana on facebook. He also told many other good stories, but this one was my favorite.

Lastly, I wanted to emphasize severity of the problem of people meeting online like this. It very
sad how easily a person of young age can get in this situation with a person who would want to do that
to them. It’s even sadder how many people wanting to do that to someone knowing the consequences if
caught but doing it anyway. Overall, yesterday was a good day and I wouldn’t mind if we had another
guess speaker come in.
