10 Years of Modi Government

I had addressed that the problems which our Indian brothers and
sisters were facing have solved by Our government, I appreciate all
the union members who have helped a lot in making a India Socially
and Globally strong.
The goal of making India and its citizens self-reliant in all aspects.
Self-reliance in every sector is the first condition for a strong
economy and the nation is making giant strides towards
realising my vision of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'.

Analysing – India's self-reliance policy, or aatmanirbhar, aims to

make India more economically, technologically, and
infrastructurally independent. The policy is intended to help
India grow and develop.
Recognising the Solution –
1. Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan or self-reliant India campaign
is the vision of new India envisaged by the me . On 12th May
2020, the I raised a clarion call to the nation giving a kick start
to the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan (self-reliant India
campaign) and announced the special economic and
comprehensive package of INR 20 lakh crores - equivalent to
10% of India’s GDP – to fight COVID-19 pandemic in India.
2. After taking Cabinet approval on 20.05.2020, Department of
Financial Services issued Operational Guidelines for the Scheme
on 23.05.2020 and Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme
(ECLGS) Fund was registered on 26.05.2020. Guidelines
amended on 4.8.2020 to include Individual loans for business,
enhance loan outstanding ceiling to Rs 50 crore and annual
turnover ceiling to Rs 250 crore.
3. The current portfolio of MUDRA-Shishu loans is Rs 1.62 lakh
crore (Maximum loan amount of Rs. 50,000). The Cabinet
approved the Scheme on 24.6.2020 and guidelines of the
Scheme were issued on 26.6.2020.
Unleashing India’s Entrepreneurial Energy
The NDA Government is focused on giving a boost to
entrepreneurship. The ‘Make in India’ initiative is based on four
pillars to boost entrepreneurship in India, not only in
manufacturing but also in other sectors .

Analysing –
I strongly believe that India has a lot of latent
entrepreneurial energy, which needs to be harnessed so that
we become a nation of job givers, more than job seekers.
Recognising –
1. Industry is accustomed to see Government as a regulator.
‘Make in India’ intends to change this by bringing a paradigm
shift in how Government interacts with industry. The
Government’s approach will be that of a facilitator and not
that of a regulator.
2. The Government is adopting a three pronged strategy to
boost entrepreneurship. This is a 3 C Model being worked
upon: Compliances, Capital & Contract Enforcement.
3. Make in India’ has identified 25 sectors in manufacturing,
infrastructure and service activities and detailed information
is being shared through interactive web-portal and
professionally developed brochures. FDI has been opened up
in Defence Production, Construction and Railway
infrastructure in a big way.

Powering India’s Growth

India has set off on an ambitious mission, a mission to provide
electricity to 18,000 villages which are still in darkness after
almost 7 decades of independence. PM Modi, in his
Independence Day speech announced that all remaining
villages shall be electrified within 1000 days.

Analysing - When the NDA Government came to power last

year, as many as 2/3 of coal based power plants (66 out of 100
coal plants tracked by Central Electricity Authority) were having
critical coal stocks meaning less than 7 days of coal stock.
Recovering from such a dire situation, today not a single power
plant in the country is facing critical coal stock level.
Recognising - India is the third-largest producer and consumer
of electricity worldwide, with an installed power capacity of
442.85 GW as of April 30, 2024
2. As per the National Infrastructure Pipeline 2019-25, energy
sector projects accounted for the highest share (24%) out of the
total expected capital expenditure of Rs. 111 lakh crore (US$
1.4 trillion).
3. Non-fossil fuel capacity India has committed to increasing its
non-fossil fuel based installed electricity generation capacity to
over 5,00,000 MW by 2031–2032.
