HAIR: Catania 162

After finishing the head, we attach the hair by sewing. You can use the classic hair planting method
if you prefer, but I chose to sew it because I don’t like the appearance of knots.

- To create the strands of hair, wrap your yarn around a notebook. The notebook I used is a small A5
size. After wrapping the yarn, cut it from one side, and your hair strands will be ready for sewing.

- Starting 6 rows above the eyebrows, sew toward the ears. Pass your needle through the inside of
the head and bring it out from the top. Fold the hair strand in half, thread it through the needle, and
insert the needle back through the same hole to secure the strand. You don't need to remove the
needle after securing each strand, just move on to the next stitch to continue.

- Sew the strands from ear to ear on the back of the head, placing them between rows 16–17, 22–23,
and 27–28 in order.

- Center the head and sew the front hair from two opposite rows/accross each other toward the
back.

- Now, without making it too dense, add hair to the remaining empty spaces on the right and left
sides.

- All hair has been attached. Each strand contains 2 threads. Take 3 strands (a total of 6 threads)
and braid the hair.

Using brown yarn, we make the hedgehog's spines by working into the remaining
stitches from the blo.

- Make 3ch, slst to side stitch; go on each stitch in this manner.

Now let's sew the front body and the back together, leaving a small opening for stuffing. After
filling with fiber, sew it closed to finish.

Join head to body by sewing.
