1. How to choose a niche
and professional account
category :
1. Identify your interest and passion
If you’re not interested in your own content and not passionate about it, there
are more chances that you’ll give up too soon, so it’s better to go with what
you’re interested in and passionate about.
QUESTIONS to ask yourself:
What are my hobbies and interests?
What topics do I enjoy learning about or discussing?
What activities make me lose track of time?
After you have answered all these questions, you will understand what niche
will help you in the long run, and don’t worry about which niche could help
you earn more money. Any niche is capable of earning a good amount of
money if you've got the right way to monetize it.
2. Category
Once you’re done with choosing the niche you can choose which professional
category suits you and would reflect your page the best
2. How to choose a
username and setup a bio:
1. Username
A username should be something that people can quickly recognise. Try to
make it short and simple so that people can remember it. If you’re confused
and want some suggestions, you can use AI for some username suggestions.
For example, if your niche is motivation, you can use this prompt in chat
GPT :
"I've started a new motivational page on Instagram, so I would need a new
and unique username for it. Please suggest 10 usernames for it that are
specifically simple, small, mindset-related, and growth-related."
And if you didn't like any of those, you can ask for 10 more and keep on
finding them until you get what you want, and you can modify the prompt
according to your needs.
1. Bio
You can use the same procedure for bio, and here's a prompt:
Create a short bio for me in 3 lines. My page name is ____ and I would like
to help my audience by ____ So please create a bio for me using emojis and
make it unique and professional so I can get more followers as people go
through my bio.
3. How to make a logo:
There are various ways you can create your logo. The most simple way is to
use an AI to create it as per your needs. There are several websites you can
use to create your logo. like [Link], [Link], etc.
And if you want to create it yourself, you can do so using Canva or Pixlr,
whichever you prefer. I'll suggest Pixlr if you don't prefer Canva's font, as
Pixlr offers you the freedom to add fonts, and to download those fonts, you
can refer to a website called Dafont.
The logo you would be creating should represent your brand, theme, and
unique identity so that people can remember you.
4. How to gain followers as
a beginner:
To gain followers first, you must start by following accounts that create
similar content to your niche, and when you do that, try following pages that
have a small number of followers instead of following large pages. After
you're done with that, you can follow some people who would be interested
in your content.
So you can do it by following people who have liked the posts of pages
posting similar content to your page. Just make sure you don't follow more
than 50 people a day and follow the posts that have the fewest likes and are
recent.
By doing this for a couple of days, you'll gain some loyal followers who will
like and interact with your recent posts and help the algorithm understand
that your content is doing well.
The best way to gain followers is by posting reels instead of feed posts, as in
the beginning, reels can go viral from day one itself, whereas feed posts take
time to get to the explorer, so focus more on reels than feed posts.
5. How to retain the
audience and interact with
them:
As you've learned how to gain followers, you also need a way to interact with
the audience you've gained; otherwise, those followers will be of no use. So
for that, you can use feed posts, as it is a great way to engage with the
audience you've gained through reels. Post stuff for them that they actually
find valuable. Try to provide value, build relations with them, and interact
with comments. It will help you build a strong community, and once you
build a strong community, your account will never run out of interactions.
Stories are also a great way to interact with your audience, understand what
they need, and provide a service that can help you both. You don't have to
post a lot of stories, but 2–5 will be a good number for stories per day.
Whereas for the feed posts, it depends on the type of content. You can post 5-
7 per week on motivational pages and more on memes and other types of
pages.
Make sure to interact with your audience daily and engage with them if
you're looking for more engagement.
6. how to make high
quality feed posts :
Instagram supports the maximum 4:3 ratio in feed posts, so better use all of
it. When making a feed post, it's important to know for whom you're making
it and what they want from it, considering that you should create something
valuable for them and keep changing and experimenting with your content.
Remember that Albert Einstein once said, "Insanity is doing the same thing
over and over again and expecting different results," so keep trying different
things and see what works best for you.
Use photos to make it more interesting, and you can also use trending audio
so people might spend more time on your post.
7. How to make viral reels:
This is the most important part that will determine your page's performance.
As it will determine your followers growth, you need to make your reels
good enough to go viral. and you would only gain good followers when you
made your reels viral. Basically, on average, you can expect to gain 100
followers on 100k views. I know it might sound less to you, but that's how it
works; it might be more or less dependent on the niche and the value you're
providing. But the question is, how can you make a reel that can go viral? For
that, you would need to understand a little human psychology and the
attention span of viewers.
Suppose you want to create a motivational reel. Search for the quote first, and
once you find a good quote, what you need to do is find the clips according to
the quotes. Once that's done, you need to find a song that suits both. Usually,
I prefer fonks for the music because that gives me a good beat drop to use
transition.
Now, how do I use that quote in the clip to make the reel more interesting?
What I do is split the quote into two parts, one to create a hook and the other
to close that hook with a satisfying ending. For example, my quote is "Do not
take revenge; the rotten fruits will fall by themselves." Now, how I'll use it is:
do not take revenge... So viewers will be curious why they should not take
revenge, so they'll watch that reel till the end, and after the transition, you can
end that hook by completing the quote. Make sure that the quote matches the
music and the visuals.
The main point of making a reel viral is how it provides a sense of feeling to
the viewers. If it's not providing any emotion or feeling, the reel is not going
to go viral, so make sure you're creating a small story and providing a sense
of feeling with your reel.
and don't make longer reels. as people have less attention time, so my
recommendation would be 6–9 seconds if you're using it without any AI
voice, as using voice to narrate can catch the attention of viewers.
Try making those reels in highest quality possible for better results.
8. How to post and posting
timings:
1. Before posting :
Posting your content at the right time and in the right way can significantly
impact its reach and engagement on Instagram. Here's a detailed guide on
how to post and the optimal times to post:
When you're posting, make sure to ask a question in the caption to bring more
comments to your reels. Use 4-5 #tags that are relatable to your content and
to your target audience, and that will be enough.
You can also use trending audios that have less than 5k usage.
Write keywords in the ALT text, like motivation or inspiration, if your theme
is particularly motivational.
For posting timing, the best time is when your most active followers are
active. You can check that in your professional dashboard in followers >
most active time graph.
2. After posting :
Once you've posted your content, you can switch to other accounts and
interact with your reels, like saving, sharing, and watching it 3–4 times. The
more accounts you have, the better the results you can get. By following this,
the algorithm will get an idea that your content is doing well and will
promote it to a wider range of audiences. If that audience likes your reels,
then congratulations! Nothing can stop your reel from going viral.
And don’t watch your reel after posting with the account that you’ve posted.
9. How to make your
profile well optimised :
Now that you know what and when to post, it's important how your profile
looks to make it look aesthetic. with using patterns, mixing reels and feed
posts, and making good-looking covers for your reels.
The point of doing this is that whenever someone goes through your profile,
maintaining a good profile will help you turn them into your followers, so try
to make your profile neat and clean.
