Activity-1
“AWARENESS ON GARBAGE MANAGEMENT”
I, Supriya Nayak, am pleased to present this report on my participation in a social activity focusing on
garbage management. This initiative was a significant opportunity for me to contribute to environmental
awareness and civic responsibility. The activity took place at Hosahalli, Tumkur premises, from 2nd
January 2024 to 11th January 2024. Shri Siddaganga Vidyasamsthe recognized my efforts by awarding me
a certificate of participation. Through this initiative, I gained valuable hands-on experience in waste
management and understood the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining a clean and
sustainable environment. My active involvement in this program reflects my dedication to sustainable
practices and my commitment to making a positive impact on society.
Objective:
The primary objective of this initiative was to promote awareness and active participation in garbage
management within the community. By involving students in hands-on environmental activities, the
program sought to instill a strong sense of responsibility regarding proper waste disposal, cleanliness, and
sustainability. Participants were encouraged to understand the impact of unmanaged waste on public health
and the environment, equipping them with practical solutions to address these challenges. The initiative also
aimed to educate students on modern waste management techniques, including segregation, recycling, and
composting, thereby fostering a long-term commitment to environmental conservation. Engaging in 80
hours of dedicated work, the student played a crucial role in improving sanitation and fostering eco-friendly
habits within the designated area.

“AWARENESS ON UPI-FRAUD ALERTNESS”
In the rapidly evolving digital payment ecosystem, the introduction of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI)
has revolutionized how transactions are conducted across India. This real-time payment system has become
an essential tool for seamless money transfers and digital transactions. However, with this increased
adoption of UPI, there has been a corresponding rise in cybercrime and fraud. UPI fraud, in various forms
such as phishing, sim swaps, and impersonation, has led to substantial financial losses for users.
Objective: The primary objective of the UPI Fraud Alertness certification program is to equip individuals
with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and avoid fraudulent activities involving UPI. This
program aims to:
Educate users on the types of UPI frauds such as phishing attacks, fake UPI links, SIM card swaps,
and unauthorized access to accounts.
Raise awareness about the importance of securing sensitive information, including UPI PINs,
passwords, and linked bank account details.
Provide best practices for safe UPI usage, such as verifying recipients before sending money, avoiding
public Wi-Fi for transactions, and using multi-factor authentication.
Help users understand how to report fraud and take corrective action promptly in the event of a
security breach. By achieving these objectives, this certification program empowers users to protect
their financial data and make informed decisions when using UPI.
