Model AVR
R120 ( For 1 and 3 Phase)
R121 ( For 1 Phase only)
Subject SOP to check the AVR R120 and R121
A. Product Affected:-
Alternators with AVR R120 and R121
B. Issue
Voltage Issues and Fuse Failure.
Post receipt of failed part at HO (AVR), it has been observed in majority cases the replaced AVR has
been found OK.
C. Service Information
Before replacement of AVR at field, kindly ensure to follow the check points provided in the SOP. This
SOP will be helpful in identifying the failure of AVR and avoid unnecessary replacement at field.
Procedure
For R120 and R121
Ensure the Fuse healthiness before
check.
Remove the green cover.
Check the fuse and replace if
blown or missing.
