Dow Jones Trading Strategy Guide

The DOW JONES SPECIAL STRATEGY involves using a 5-minute chart to identify a big body candle and trading based on subsequent price action within a defined box. Traders should aim for a minimum 1:1.5 Risk-Reward Ratio and limit themselves to two trades per day, stopping if they hit two stop losses. Key conditions include avoiding trades if the price moves more than 10 points against the breakout before entry.

➢ Use the 5-minute chart.

➢ Look for a big body candle. The next two candles must
stay inside the high and low of this first candle.
➢ Once you spot it, draw a box from the first candle’s
closing high to closing low.
➢ Take a trade when the price closes above or below the
box.
➢ Set your target and stoploss logical, but aim for at least
a 1:1.5 Risk-Reward Ratio.
➢ Entry time: From market open till 12:00 AM.
➢ You can take a maximum of two trades per day.
➢ If you hit two stop losses in a day, stop trading for the
day.
➢ Important:
After the breakout and before your entry, if the price
moves more than 10 points against the breakout
(opposite side of the box), skip the trade.
