Assignment objectives:
After successful completion of this assignment, students will be able to:
• Apply attribution theory to real-life sports contexts by analyzing the causes athletes
assign to their performance outcomes.
• Identify types of attribution and link these to emotional and behavioral outcomes as
explained in the lecture.
Question:
Read each real-life sports scenario carefully. Identify the attribution concept
involved and justify your answer using the theoretical concepts discussed in lecture 6, which
should consist of at least 3 points. One example is provided for guidance.

Only in the case of Assignment, 24 hours extra / grace period after the due date is usually
available to overcome uploading difficulties which may be faced by the students on last
date. This extra time should only be used to meet the emergencies and above-mentioned
due dates should always be treated as final to avoid any inconvenience.
