Terms and Conditions:-

General Terms
1. Above detailed drawings, specifications, appearance, and functionality of the product are understood by the customer, and
giving consent to the above will be considered the final go-ahead for production. This signed document/approved through mail
will be referred to as the accepted contract between AIS-Windows and the Customer. However, it is recommended to see,
check, and feel the product physically in AIS-Windows showrooms or on-site. Being a customized product, AIS-Windows will
accelerate its execution and will deliver it on the committed time; however, in case of breakage of glass or any unforeseen
circumstances, AIS-Windows will promptly inform and serve on an utmost priority basis.
Manufacturing tolerances: +/- 3mm up to 3.00 mtr and +/- 5 mm above 3.0 mtr.
Up to an 8 mm gap, from the smallest cavity dimension, between the frame and hosting structure will be within the acceptable
limit.
Payment Terms & Price Validity
2. 10% Advance Payment at order booking, 40% Payment post survey, 50% Balance Payment before dispatch of the order from
AIS.
3. Validity of this Price Proposal: This quote is valid for 1 month from the date of Quote except the following:
(a) Non-Adherence to payment terms as per agreement

(b) Increase in raw material cost/energy cost/fuel cost.

(c) Any unforeseen circumstances due to which our input cost increases.

4. After confirming the order with all due terms and conditions and post Survey, customer will get the site ready for installation
within 15 days from Order ready date and will take the delivery of order by paying all dues. The site shall be ready within 15 days
from order readiness date for installation.
Cancellation Policy
a) Cancellation Fee
In the event of order cancellation post Booking, a cancellation fee of ₹10,000 or 1% of the total order value including GST,
whichever is higher, will be charged.
b) Applicability of Cancellation Policy
The cancellation fee is applicable only if the order is cancelled before the Order Release for Production (ORP) stage:
For partial cancellations where one or more lots of an order have been executed and the remaining lots are cancelled, the
cancellation charges will apply as per the "Before Order release for production" terms mentioned above. The cancellation fee will
be calculated based on ₹10,000 or 1% of the total order value, including GST, whichever is higher.
c) Important Notes
Cancellation can be applied to either the complete order or a specific lot order, provided the cancellation request is made before
order is gone in production

Once an order or a lot enters the production stage, cancellation requests can no longer be entertained.
Delivery Terms & Freight
5. FG storage charges to start from 1 week from promised dispatch date. The charges applicable will be 0.5% per day of the order
value or Rs 1000 per day, whichever is greater in value.
6. Lead time is 4-5 weeks for white profile & 6-8 weeks for Foiled profile (subject to the site being made available all the time).
7. Freight is considered as per clubbed/exclusive adequate lot for delivery; however, multiple deliveries demanded by the customer
will be charged as per actual and extra
8. All deliveries will be made within the permissible time frame of each zone of entries.
9. All doors and windows will be packed with LLDPE film ( Linear Low-Density Polyethylene).
10. All doors and windows will be transported in open-top vehicles.
Installation, Handover & Protection/Safekeeping
11. Material should be kept in customer custody in a safe place until installation starts. Any damage done by other working parties
on-site will be borne by the customer.
12. It is important that doors and windows are fitted after the end of construction work and at the start of fit-out at the site. It is
recommended, and we will only start the installation after the first coat of paint is completed. The second coat/final coat has to be
done after installation of doors and windows.
13. It is highly recommended to protect each installed window by placing packaging by the customer after successful installation if
other jobs are ongoing simultaneously. Removing protection tape immediately after installation is included in this scope, and in
case protection tape needs to be removed not immediately after installation, then it will be chargeable at actuals. The protection
tape on the uPVC profile needs to be removed within 15 days of installation; otherwise, removing protection tape after this period
may not be possible.

 14. Where anchor fastening is required, the cavity's top and bottom hosting structures (on Which the façade is to be fixed) must be
constructed using Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC).
15. The initial installation visit is included as part of the order. Any additional visits required due to site unavailability, lack of
readiness, or delays not attributable to AIS will incur a service charge of ₹1000 per window/door installation
16. The customer is responsible for ensuring site readiness as per the agreed schedule. If the installation is delayed for more than
30 days due to site unavailability or reasons beyond AIS’s control, the order warranty will commence from the 31st day from the
delivery date.
17. Upon completion of installation, the customer is required to sign the handover and feedback form within three (3) days.
Otherwise, the installation will be considered complete, and a handover confirmation will be sent via email.
18. Pre-Requisites for installation of Windows :
18.1 Scaffolding to be provided by the client where ever necessary.
18.2 Walls should be plastered from inside and outside, with inside POP complete.
18.3 All jams, sills and soffits should be plastered.
18.4 Flooring (where doors must be installed) should be complete.
18.5 Aperture should be smooth.
18.6 Base and top of the window should be water levelled and sides should be in vertical plumb.
18.7 Sill width should be more than the window width.
18.8 Opening should be accessible from inside for installation.
18.9 Grills: Adequate care should be taken if grills must be installed
(a) For slider Window: Grill should be provided on the outer face of the slider before the installation of the window.
(b) For Casement windows: Screw-type grill is recommended after the installation of the casement window.
19. Color shade of Silicon will vary from Profile Shade of windows/Doors.

20. MS Structure will not be under AIS Scope. MS Structure, if required, must be provided by the Customer/Dealer.

21. When post installation protection is required, Rs. 1000 per window will be charged, which needs to be paid before the start of
protection work.
22. Arch Window (Available Only In uPVC) Manufacturing & Supplying Terms:

22.1 Segmental & Semi-circular (part of a regular circle) Arch types can be manufactured.
22.2 Arch height should be less than or equal to half of the arch width.
22.3 Finishing of the corner joint & glazing bead connection of arch typologies may differ from standard windows; joinery may
have up to 3mm gaps against 0.5mm for standard windows
22.4 Differences in Arch dimensions mentioned in the quotation & actual sizes at the site need to be verified as per arch
manufacturing guidelines.
22.5 Due to the manufacturing process of Arch Windows, gaps up to 20mm between the frame and structure (at the closest
point) are considered acceptable.
22.6 Arch Window cavity to be maintained as per Drawing.
Exclusions:
23. The following items are excluded in our offer:
1. Any extra special requirements such as Panic Device, Door Closer, and floor spring for a swing door, master key cylinder,
and electronic devices.
2. Any special weather/waterproofing materials that interface between concrete and profile.
3. Any special internal Aluminium sill flashing or coping timber/wood if required by interior design intent.
4. Steel sub-framing for masonry opening.
5. Sub-frames, if required, are excluded in our quotations.
6. Any architectural steel frameworks interfacing/integrating to our Aluminium element (unless otherwise clearly stated in our
offer).
7. Fly screen mesh items not specifically mentioned in the quotation.
8. Onsite Water and Electricity (to be provided by the customer without any charge).
9. Service lift/Crane/equipment for lifting the doors and windows to the respective floor.
24. Grill will not be provided by AIS; recommended 20 mm width for plate for Grill provision in twin-sash windows.
25. Specialized products have their own set of customized hardware, so the hardware will be different in terms of look and feel from
the standard product range.
26. The mechanical joint of Lift and Slide window/door outer frame may differ from conventional windows.
27. The Color Shade and Gloss of profiles (applicable as ancillary, bead, or coupling profiles) can vary, which is subject to selective
acceptance by the customer.

 28. In case of apertures not being ready at the time of site Survey
This part is regarding survey done dated………………………... Based on PI no…………….…...As you are aware that apertures
are not ready for windows fitment but as per your request we are taking below mentioned aperture codes windows for fabrication
as per final sizes given by you. As this is a non-standard practice we request you to provide your written consent on below
aperture codes with sizes.
Please note that once fabrication is initiated there will not be any sort of alteration possible in windows designs and sizes so we
request you to arrange aperture preparation accordingly.

Taxes

29. Above price in Inclusive of taxes as per government current norms and will be applicable as per date of dispatch.
Warranty
30. 10-year warranty on profile against defects like peel-off, discoloration/ Colour degradation over the acceptable limit as per EN
And AMMA standards. ( Kindly refer to the warranty card for complete terms & conditions.)
31. For Super Durable Profiles (Golden Desert & Phantom Grey), warranty is applicable for 25 years.
32. 5-year operational warranty on the hardware from the date of handover intended.
33. All claims related to warranty, or rework will be subjected to the AIS-Windows representative only.

34. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Delhi only.
35. Waranty not applicable in case of Damage caused due to non-operation of sliders for a significant period of time (12 weeks – 15
weeks) leading to flatness in rollers.
36. Kindly refer to the warranty certificate for a detailed understanding of the warranties.

Force Majeure

37. AIS-Windows shall not be liable for any delay or non-performance of its obligations under the agreement/PO arising from Force
Majeure events. In such an eventuality AIS-Windows will notify the client about the happening of the Force Majeure event and
shall do everything in its power to fulfil its obligation to the extent possible. Force Majeure means a party preventing from fulfilling
its obligation under this agreement by reason of any supervening event beyond its control including but not limited to war,
national emergency, flood, earthquake, strike or lockout
