Learning Objective:
Course Outline Page 1
Students will comprehend the basic principles of agricultural engineering, including soil and
water conservation, farm machinery, and post-harvest technology, to improve farming
efficiency and sustainability.
Students will learn to apply engineering techniques such as irrigation management,
precision agriculture, and renewable energy utilization to enhance agricultural productivity
and environmental sustainability.
Students will gain practical experience in operating farm equipment, managing water
resources, and implementing modern agricultural technologies to solve real-world farming
challenges.
Learning Methodology:
Lectures & Multimedia: Concept-based teaching using presentations, videos, and
animations.
Lab Experiments: Hands-on activities to study photosynthesis, respiration, and plant
water relations.
Field Visits: Observations of crop growth under different environmental conditions.
Assignments & Quizzes: Engaging tasks to reinforce learning and assess understanding.
