WARNING: Ensure the weapon is not loaded and the safety selector is in the ”safe”
position before attempting to install, remove or perform maintenance.

• The optical axis height of the magnifier and the sight must coincide as shown in Fig. 5.
• Select a suitable position for the magnifier on the weapon base (e.g. Picatinny rail)
for a comfortable eye relief.
• Assemble the magnifier to the mount following the manufacturer’s instruction. Orient
the magnifier with the screws for centering (1) positioned as shown in Fig. 5.

2.2 Centering
Any sight used with the magnifier must be zeroed for the reticle of the sight to coincide
with point of impact. 3XMag-1™ has two screws for centering (1) to allow the user to
center the reticle of a sight when viewed through the magnifier. Centering the reticle is
not necessary, but creates a more natural feel when operating the magnifier with a sight.

CAUTION: Do not continue to adjust the screws for centering if you encounter
resistance. The mechanism can break if over-adjusted.

2.3 Diopter setting

Adjust the diopter setting by rotating the diopter ring (2) as shown in Fig. 6.

3 EXTREME CONDITIONS
Use in extreme heat, extreme cold, salt air, sea spray, water, mud, snow, dust and sand
storms or high altitudes does not require any special procedures.

4 MAINTENANCE
To reach maximum protection level for all weather conditions, wax is added into the
rubber mixture. The wax is slowly migrating to the surface of the part. The wax is used
up completely during frequent use and is not noticed by the user. For long time storage,
the wax is not used up as frequently and is seen as a grey film on the surface. Wipe with
a damp cloth to restore to its original condition.

CAUTION: Never clean the lenses with the fingers. Use lens paper/cloth. If no lens
paper/cloth is available, blow away the dirt or fog up the lenses and dry them with a
clean and soft piece of cloth.
