29. In the given figure 2, ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral such that ∠ADB= 40° and ∠DCA = 70°, then find
the measure of ∠DAB.

AB and CD are two parallel chords of a circle which are on opposite sides of the centre such that AB
= 24 cm and CD = 10 cm and the distance between AB and CD is 17 cm. Find the radius of the
circle.
30. ABC is a triangle, right angled at C. A line through the mid-point M of hypotenuse AB and parallel
to BC interest AC at D. Show that (i). D is the mid-point of AC

36. Deepak purchased two types of chocolate A and B at the rate of Rs. X and Rs. Y respectively. The
total amount spent is Rs. 7. After reaching home, he forms a linear equation in two variables for these
two types of chocolates. He prepares a table and a graph of linear equation as shown in the figure given
below:

(i) Form the pair of linear equations in two variables from this situation.
(ii) Find the cost of chocolate B if cost of chocolate A is Rs. 2.5

37. During Math Lab Activity each student was given four broomsticks of lengths 8cm, 8cm, 5cm, 5cm
to make different types of quadrilaterals.
Using above information answer the following questions:
(i) How many quadrilaterals can be formed using these sticks?
(ii) Name the types of quadrilaterals formed?
(iii) In a trapezium ABCD, DC||AB and ∠A=∠B=45°, then find ∠D and ∠C.

Show that the quadrilateral formed by joining the mid-points of the sides of a quadrilateral , taken in
order is a parallelogram.,
38. Mathematics teacher of a school took her 9th standard students to show Red fort. It was a
part of their Educational trip. The teacher had interest in history as well. She narrated the facts
of Red fort to students. Then the teacher said in this monument one can find combination of solid
figures. There are 2 pillars which are cylindrical in shape. Also 2 domes at the corners which are
hemispherical.7 smaller domes at the centre. Flag hoisting ceremony on Independence Day
takes place near these domes.
