Content Standard: The learner demonstrates understanding of environment and market in one’s locality/town.
Performance Standard: The learner independently creates a business vicinity map reflective of potential market in
one’s locality/town.
Learning Competency: Describe the Marketing Mix (7Ps) in relation to the business opportunity
(CS_EP11/12ENTREP-0h-j-10).
OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students must be able to:
a. Identify and analyze the role of promotion within the marketing mix and its alignment with market needs.
b. Appreciate the significance of promotion in building customer awareness and business success.
c. Design a promotional strategy and integrate it into a business vicinity map using ICT tools.

Instruct the learners to use hand signals based on their understanding of the concept to ensure learning.

Each member has been pre-assigned with a particular part of the activity that they will lead but all members
must participate all the time.
The Entire group will be graded based on the rubric presented.

According to a research entitled “Differentiated instruction based on multiple intelligences as promising joyful and
meaningful learning” The students’ multiple intelligence modalities can be optimized through differentiated multiple
intelligence-based instruction. The intelligence developed includes logical-mathematical intelligence, language,
kinesthetic, interpersonal and intrapersonal. Students feel the fun learning atmosphere and unstressed learning, so that
multiple intelligences can naturally be developed.

Discuss the role of promotion in the marketing mix. Highlight the importance of selecting promotional tools that
align with the target market.
The learners will relate concepts to real-world examples from local businesses.

Task: Groups receive a fictional ₱15,000 budget for a promotional campaign. They will allocate it across
various channels (e.g., social media, print ads, events) and calculate the percentages for each allocation.

ratios, and proportions in real-life contexts, including profit, loss, discounts, and allocation of resources. LC

Task: Write a compelling tagline and short promotional message for a chosen product or service. Focus on
persuasive language and relevance to the target market.
Integration: English (Persuasive Writing). Competency: Write various kinds of texts using appropriate text
structures, devices, and language conventions, focusing on argumentative and persuasive writing. LC Code:

Output: A 2–3 sentence promotional message presented to the class.

Task: Create a digital poster using Canva to visually represent the promotional message. Add promotional
locations to a business vicinity map using Google Maps.
Integration: ICT (Digital Design and Mapping) and Social Studies (Local Geography). Competency: Utilize
digital tools to create and interpret maps, incorporating layers of data to analyze geographic and spatial
