The toxicity of the two biorational insecticides, Spinosad and NPVs, against neonates of Spodoptera
littoralis (Bosiduval) (Lepidoptera:
Noctuidae) was tested under laboratory conditionsin order to determine the competitive efficacy. The
ability of Spinosad to protect the SpliNPV from Ultra Violet effects under synthetic laboratory
conditions was determined, and some biological aspects of both biorational insecticides and their
mixture were studied. In order to determine whether or not there is a synergetic effect when both of
these biorational pesticides are added together, six different Spinosad concentrations (1, 2, 5, 10, 15
and 30 ppm) alone and mixed with a sub lethal concentration of SpliNPV (1×10

The short story Killings is written by Andre Dubs which later recreated into a motion picture film
called In the Bedroom by director Todd Field in 2001. Both the short story Killings and the film In
the Bedroom highlights the themes of love and revenge. It shows how far a person would go for the
people they love. The short story was named Killings because it not only focuses on two deaths but
the multiple types of death and different aspects of it. Reading the short story Killings and watching
the film In the BedroomI noticed many differences between the two. For example in the short story

Generational Differences in the Classroom
Most people have a learning style that mirrors how they were taught when they were younger. It
should be noted that there is not a one size fits all method when it comes to learning. The key to
being able to appeal to each of the different generations is to offer diversity in teaching styles in
order to satisfy the different preferences. As of now, there are four generations that are in the
workforce and those four generations are: The Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, Generation X, and
the Millennials. This paper will examine the characteristics of these four generations, how their
learning styles differ, and what to provide to each group in order for their learning experience to be
most rewarding.
The Silent Generation was born between the mid 1920 s to early 1940 s. The silent generation was
born in the middle of the Great Depression, and saw their parents struggle with finance issues
(Levonius, 2015). This generation learned to value the money that they had and tended to save
more than spend. This generation was raised in the midst of the World War, therefore this
generation preferred to keep their heads down and stay silent while working hard to achieve slow
progress (Levonius, 2015). In the classroom, members of this generation prefer to be in the
background and not the center of attention. They are a group that respects authority, does what is
asked of them and does not quit the job until complete. This generation grew up in a teacher centric
educational system, meaning that children should be seen and not heard. While they were in school
if they spoke out of turn there was usually some sort of punishment. The silent generation has a
learning style that is based on the classic classroom structure, and what that means is they prefer to
sit in front of an instructor and listen to the lecture. They like for learning to be taught in a linear
format with feedback that is clear (Levonius, 2015). It is common that this generation has decided to

Although the CARE Act was not initially intended to address hospital readmissions, the
legislation could serve as a way for states to meet standards set by the Hospital Readmission
Reduction Program (HRRP) (Heil, 2015) which could save hospitals money on incurred fines
(Boozary, Manchin III, Wicker, 2015). Under HRRP, one of byproducts of the ACA, hospitals
with readmission rates that exceed the target readmission rates are penalized by a reduction in
payments across all of their Medicare admissions (Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services, 2014).
According to AARP, once a patient leaves the hospital, family caregivers often perform the daily
tasks that can help reduce the rate of hospital readmissions (AARP, 2015), which is possibly why
the legislation has become so popular.
As of July 2017, 39 states and territories have passed the CARE Act, with an additional six states
with bills introduced (Reinhard Ryan, 2017). Florida, is one of few states that has not passed this
