a) To renovate her bathroom, Olga borrowed $19,500 at a flat rate of interest of 5.4% per annum.
The loan is repaid in fortnightly (every two weeks) instalments over 4 years.
[Assume that there are exactly 52 weeks in a year.]

(i) Calculate the amount of interest paid on this loan.

(ii) Calculate the total amount to be repaid on this loan.

(iii) Calculate the amount of each fortnightly repayment.

b) (i) Leo earned $1,980 in interest from $18,000 invested in a simple interest account for three
