 SOLANNA (Main Protagonist)​
Age: Mid-20s​
Traits: Introspective, spiritual, cautious, emotionally scarred by past trauma.​
Role: The reluctant hero who senses the danger early and survives by resisting the cult’s pull.

INGRID (Best Friend / Travel Influencer)​

Age: Mid-20s​
Traits: Outgoing, confident, bubbly, social-media obsessed.​
Role: The loyal yet dismissive friend who drags Solanna into the hike and gradually realizes the horror

FINN (Ingrid’s Boyfriend)​

Age: Late 20s​
Traits: Sarcastic, skeptical, flirtatious, impulsive.​
Role: The group’s jokester who falls under the cult’s spell and dies tragically.

FRANZ VETLE (Trail Expert)​

Age: 30s–40s​
Traits: Knowledgeable, practical, slightly arrogant.​
Role: Guide of the group, initially confident but quickly overwhelmed by the strange phenomena.

MARGARET (Cult Member)​

Age: Late 20s​
Traits: Cold, calculating, deceitful.​
Role: Poses as a hiker but is actually part of the cult; manipulates and isolates group members.

ALMA (Cult Matriarch)​

Age: 40s–50s​
Traits: Charismatic, maternal, eerie calmness.​
Role: Leader of the cult, spiritual face of the commune, justifies murder as a ritual of nature.

EMIL( Cult Patriarch)

Age: 40s–50s​
Traits: Charismatic, paternal, eerie calmness.​
Role: Leader of the cult, spiritual face of the commune, justifies murder as a ritual of nature.

VANESSA (Sirena/Enchantress Figure)​

Age: Appears mid-20s​
Traits: Beautiful, quiet, hypnotic.​
Role: Entrancer of men; causes Finn’s death through seduction.

ASTRID (Cult Enforcer)​

Age: 20s​
Traits: Stoic, strong, obedient.​
Role: Muscle of the cult; carries out orders, kills Ingrid.
Solanna lays on the green grass, she’s enjoying her peaceful afternoon under the tree. For a while her
humming was everything filling the silence. Then, a distant footsteps came closer.

Ingrid: Solanna! *comes forward to her*

*Solanna opens her eyes and looks at Ingrid with a smile

Ingrid: I’ve been looking for you everywhere.I really thought you ditched me again with your ‘I prefer
solitude’ complex

*Solanna will laugh and sit up to face her properly*

Solanna: I didn’t plan on ditching you. I got tired of waiting to your slow ass so I took a nap here. I might
grow roots if I keep waiting for you to finish taking selfies and flirting with Finn.

*Ingrid will giggle and playfully slap Solanna’s arm. Solanna will laugh along then slowly the laughters will
die*

Ingrid: So… what are your plans this weekend? *Solanna will tense up and pause then looks away to the
distant grass*

Solanna: I don’t know maybe I’ll just stay at hom-

Ingrid: No. I’m not letting you spend your days rotting in your apartment again. Your parents would’nt be
happy seeing you back to that same state.

*Solanna will sigh and look at Ingrid. Ingrid will show determination like she’s not willing to back down.
Solanna will sigh again*

Solanna: Fine you win. Tell me what are your plans. *Ingrid will giggle*

Ingrid: He said that we’re going to…Mt. Preiskol- you read it

*shoves the phone to Solanna*

Solanna: Mt. Preikestolen. *slowly realization* Wait-wait, are we talking about that Preikestolen? That
mountain that says there’s uncontacted tribes and a living mountain at night. Is Finn serious?!

Ingrid: C’mon Solanna. Its 2025 and you still believe in those scary stories?

Solanna: They’re not just stories, Ingrid. There’s sighting of Nøkken somewhere on that mountains. *picks
up the phone and shows a video compilation of scary things at the said mountain* See?! That’s Hiisi! I
was so close to agreeing to that hiking idea but I’m not entering that mountain.

Ingrid: Solanna, please *pacuteo(〃＾▽＾〃)o* Do it for me? I’ll be the only girl in the group if you don’t
come. You don’t want anything happening to me right? Besides, I really don’t want you to lock yourself
again and spend your days alone.

*Solanna will sigh and give in VERY RELUCTANTLY*

Solanna: If anything happens, just anything. I’ll grab your hand and we’ll run down the mountain forget
Finn. He's a man. He can protect himself.

-cut-

Act 2

(*Solanna and Ingrid will arrivr at the waiting place. At that place, Finn will be there including and a trail
expert who identifies as Franz and one quiet lady name Margaret)

(Ingrid will start taking pictures and doing an improv vlog showing all the members of the hiking group)
Micheal: (With accent) Alright! Listen up! At the bottom on Mt. Preiskolstolen is a dense forest. There’s
bugs and other critters. When you see a snake don’t touch it, it could be venomous. Again, don’t stray
with your hiking buddies. Don’t leave your belongings and make sure you don’t destroy the environment.
Are we clear?

(Everyone says yes)

(The hiking stars, Ingrid does her live stream, Finn beside her, Franz leading and pointing everything.
Margaret was unusually quiet and Solanna was beside her muttering prayers.)

Solanna: Our Father, who art in heaven,Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom [Link] will be d- (Solanna will pause when she thought she heard another set footstep
walking beside them but far from the group)

(She stays for a moment, everyone walks straight except Margaret who will slow down and look at her but
continues)

Solanna: Franz! Is there another group walking around? I-I just heard people walking around

(Everyone will pause and listen but no one will hear anything)

Franz: No. We’re the only group allowed. And this is the only trail so there’s no one in this forest

Solanna: B-But-

Ingrid: Solanna you’re just scaring yourself. There’s no one there. You’re only imagining things.

(Solanna begrudgingly agrees and walks along them. Still Margaret was quiet and watching everyone.)
(On their walk, the steps continued beside but far from their group which made Solanna anxious.)

Margaret: Do you hear something?

(Solanna stiffens)

Solanna: Do you hear it too?

(Margaret will smile feigning innocence).

Margaret: Hear what? You’re being insane, Miss.

(Solanna will purse her lips then walk faster to Ingrid who’s busy filming. Margaret’s gaze will follow her
then a faint smirk will form).

-cut-

(Silence filled the forest, the two Fins, Ingrid and Finn doesn’t really talk much unless needed. Ingrid was
focused on her vlog. Franz practices the Hygge, which was making sure everyone is comfortable.)

(*Solanna will feel something tug her bag which will make her turn again only to see no one behind her. At
this point all the supernaturals will be targeting her)

(While hiking they’ll come across a tree with white strips of fabrics tied with a strange writings on some)

Ingrid: Wow!
Finn: This is awesome!

Franz: (still with accent) We can get our rest here in the mean time. Though…I’ve never really seen this
tree before.

(Solanna and Margaret was quiet. Solanna is anxious and tired while Margaret is watching Solanna’s
move)

(When Ingrid was starting to film again. Margaret will move.)

Margaret: Wait! What are you doing?!

Ingrid: W-what?Filming of course. This is too pretty not to be documented.

Margaret: No! (Lunges to take the camera)

(Finn steps in) Can you not? Hullu nainen [Crazy woman]

(Ingrid will laugh along and start filming)

Ingrid: Kyllä hän on hullu (Yeah she’s crazy)

(Franz joins) Lady, please calm down. It’s just a tree. Why can’t we film it? Huh?

Margaret: (looks at them with a dangerous look, her fist crumpling) Its…It’s a sign of respect. Can’t you
see that maybe it is important?!
(Ingrid and Finn laughs)

Finn: Tärkeää perseeni (Important my ass)

(Meanwhile, Solanna just stands on the background away from the tree a heavy unsettling feeling
overwhelming her nerves)

-cut-

(Solanna will pull Ingrid aside)

Solanna: Ingrid, can we please just go back? I really don’t feel safe. There’s-

Ingrid: Sol, please? Everyone is having fun.

Solanna: No, no, no you don’t understand. Ever since we started the hike I felt like someone is watching
us.

Ingrid: That’s just in your head. Maybe, it’s your parents watching you from above. Since we’re going in a
mountain it’s closer to heaven.

Solanna: No. You don’t understand! There’s really someone with us! I felt someone tugged my bag. I felt
scratches.

Ingrid: Solanna. You’re imagining things.

Solanna: I’m not imagining things!

(Ingrid sighs)

Ingrid: Fine! I’ll walk with and give up my space with Finn but is that crazy woman steals Finn from me I’ll
blame you. We’ll see if there’s really something or someone you claim there is.

(Solanna will feel relieved but a bit tense)

(During the walk, Ingrid will try to keep Solanna’s attention by blabbering things including some of the
horror stories her parents told her.)

Ingrid: You know, my mother used to tell me before she move back to Norway that she once heard that La
Llrona when she’s living in America. But I don’t know it could be anything , she’s the kind of woman that
swears elves still exists.

(Finn will groan in exhaustion)

Finn: How long do we have to keep on walking man!

Franz: Just a few more miles! I know a camping site.

(Then they’ll step out of the forest and it’s a civilization.)

Finn: Sweet! We found the spot already!.

Franz: H-how? This isn’t-…this place.

(Ingrid pulls Solanna to join the group, Solanna will become paler and grew tense again)
Alma: Oh! There’s some hikers lost. (Nudges to her husband)

Vetle: It seems like it.

(Meanwhile, the will drop their belongings like they already know the place. Franz will become tensed too
finding it hard to tell this place never existed on the map. Ingrid and Finn will begin taking pictures even
forcing Solanna to join them)

Alma: Welcome!

(Ingrid will looked at her, Margaret on the far back will slightly smile and curtsy a bit)

Franz: Hello, I’m Franz a local trail expert. These are the hikers I’m leading. Who are you?

(Alma smiles): I’m Alma and my husband is Vetle. I’ve never seen hikers get so lost. Our sanctuary is on
the other side of the trail.

(Franz will look shock)

Franz: Excuse me? How is that possible? W-we…I know the trai-

(Alma’s smile will grow wider): That’s normal. The mountain sometimes leads you to unexpected places.
(Glances to the crowd) Seeing that everyone must be tired you can join us until you’re all rested. Besides,
I heard there’s a storm coming. It’ll be hard to go down while it’s slippery.

(The only reluctant persons are Franz and Solanna. Margaret will disappear on the background leaving
Finn and Ingrid to walk around)
(On their first night nothing will happen but a strange mumblings of prayers can be heard)

Act 3

(When the sun had risen, Alma invited her guests to see their morning greetings)

(Vanessa will sit on a stone, combing her hair, the other folliwing her. Franz, Ingrid and Finn, even
Margaret will join then except Solanna)

(Alma speaks while Jaerra is singing): Why are you not bathing on the river?.

Solanna ( stares at the river): Personal reasons.

(Alma smiles wider): Sometimes personal problems can be fixed by sharing. Our family…we give back
what we get from the nature.

Solanna: I just-

(Her voice will be cut by the enjoyment ng friends niya. Franz will grabbed one of the cult members hand.
Kahit sino na choice niya tapos pipilitin niya na magenjoy din.

Alma and Vanessa will watch everything happen)

-cut-

(Yung cult member na dinisrespect ni Franz hihiain siya sa isang gilid)

Kizza: You. You're a bad man, huh?

Franz: (scoffs) a bad man doesn't care about a woman's delight. (steps closer)

Kizza: (steps back and points at him) Paska [shit]

Franz: What did you just call me?

Kizza: Kauhea Mies (Terrible Man)

(Franz will try to place his hand on her shoulder but she will push him down the cliff)

-cut-

(Alma sits in a circle with others and teaches the hikers to make flower crowns. Alma and Emil will
continue to watch the others while Astrid will distract Ingrid. Margaret will distract Solanna and Vanessa
will meet Finn’s eyes once but Finn will keep looking at her which causes Ingrid to be jealous)

ALMA

Alma: Our family had carried this tradition for ages passing from our great great great grandmothers to
ours every children and maiden will make a flower crown of their pickings choosing 7 different flowers and
give it to the boy they liked choosing them as their future spouse

Ben: we believe that sharing this tradition can help you beloved guests of ours finding their prospective
spouses

(the camera will show interactions of 1 character to the another focusing on alma and Ben joking
around Astrid is trying to teach Ingrid. Margaret distracting Solanna And Finn distracted gaze on
Vanessa)

Solanna: where’s Vetle

Ingrid: I don’t know, last time I saw him he’s talking to Finn

Finn: (he will laugh and nudge Ingrid) stop looking for Vetle you know him he’s a ladies man he’s jumping
from one lady to another

Ingrid: ( Ingrid will laugh along her boyfriend Solanna will look at them with disgust but doesn’t say
anything) That’s right Solanna just ignore Vetle you know him he's having his own fun

(They will continue to laugh again and continue poking a joke Solanna The camera will be on Solanna’s
POV panning around then close up to her then slowly backs away showing how anxious she is and isnt
joining about their jokes)

Solana: Seriously Ingrid where is Vetle?

Ingrid: I don’t know (looks at Finn)you’re the last one who talked to Vetle where is he?

Finn: Fine! Vetle told me that he had to stay behind because he forgot his phone.

Ingrid: His phone?

Solanna: I'll go check on him. There's also something I want to ask.

(Solanna will go to the cliff kasi nakikita doon yung ilog only to see Franz dead)

(Solanna screams, Ingrid and Finn will run but Margaret and the other will walk normally.)

Solanna: Please! Finn! Go down check on him.

(Finn will go down and shake his head. Solanna and Ingrid will cry and the other female cult members will
try to comfort them. )

(Solanna will have a panic attack and Emil will give her the special water)

-cut-

(the three are all huddled up in the corner, Solanna was staring at the water while Ingrid was
distraught. Emil enters)

Emil: I know that Vetle’s death is sudden and our family is deeply affected by it too. But please, Vetle
wouldn’t want you to be burdened by his death. We will try our best to honor his death

Ingrid: What do you even know about what’s best for him! We’re basically strangers! A man just died and
you expect us to just live by it?!

Alma: Dear child, lost and broken, we never said tears can’t help. All we said was Vetle wouldn’t want this

Ingrid: stop saying what Vetle wants!

Finn: Ingrid! Shouting cant help anything! I’ll look for Vetle’s body and see what they’ll do. Please for now
don’t do anything stupid and stay [Link]?
(Ingrid will nod while Solanna will keep her gaze to Alma who returns it with a smile. Ingrid will pull her
away far from the couple)

(Vanessa sits on the bridge singing while combing her hair unaware of Vetle’s death Astrid and Margaret
will be with her as Finn walks by he will be hypnotized by her song and completely forgets why he is
walking Finn will try to come closer and touch Vanessa but Astrid will promptly stop his hand by grabbing
his wrist)

Vanessa: it’s fine. what brings you here?

Finn: You

Vanessa: (laughs) you have such a way with words

Finn: I’ll be damned if I don’t

(Finn will try to get close but Margaret will step in)

Margaret: Vanessa

Vanessa: SHHH ! (signals them to leave them alone)

(Finn will try to get close then the camera vanishes to the shrubs then returns fan will wipe his lips then
smiles then for a few seconds he'll keep the smile the slowly fade then cough then vomit black water then
dies Vanessa will then step over his body leaving him on the bridge) -cut-

Solana: this place is creepy it is rubbing me in the wrong ways you know I think Vetle was killed by a
NOKKEN,Ingrid

Ingrid: seriously solana are you still bringing that up there is no such thing as NOKEN (despite her denial
there is hesitation on her voice then silence will take for a few seconds)

Ingrid: Actually, I noticed something from my vlogs.(Solanna looks at her)

Ingrid: I was planning to post them when we finally got out of this place. There are some parts where it
just kept glitching I kept creating a copy and deleting the other hoping there’s something to fix it but the
glitch kept happening.

Solanna: what glitch?

Ingrid: it… it kept on removing us on the frame

Solanna: us?

Ingrid: me, Vetle, Finn… remember that girl on our hike? I have never even once saw her again after
entering this place. Its like she just vanished

Solanna: what do you me-

Ingrid: and one night I couldn’t sleep so I walked around and I saw Alma walking in this strange room
along with the others. I saw that Vanessa girl things get passed around like some sacred object. I cant
describe to you , you just need to see it.

(Pulls Solanna out)

-cut-

(they came across a room with only a podium and a singular book. So Ingrid started taking pictures.)

Solanna: Ingrid stop!

Ingrid: No. This can be proof. I'm not believing any more lies. The only person who knew the way out of
this place just died and we can't see the body? We can't call the [Link] you're right. We-we
shouldn't have went.

Solanna: Please just drop this and let's just find Finn. We can track the trail by following your vlog.

Margaret (appears the room): What are you doing?

(Ingrid sees her): YOU! You nainen! [Woman]. (Grabs Margarets shoulder tightly) you're one of them
aren't you? You're like them, crazy psychotic woman. Tell me. Did you kill Franz? Did you kill him?
(Shakes her violently)

(Solanna will try to break them apart)

Solanna: Please stop!

Margaret: If you want to leave youll let me go!

Margaret: You outsiders don't know manners huh?.

Solanna: Please just tell us where to go. We promise we're not going back. Just please let us go.

Margaret: (smiles) sure.

-cut-

Act 4

(Margaret will lead them somewhere).

Margaret: Your friend, the one you call Finn left first.
Solanna: Finn? Really?

(Margaret nods)

Margaret: We will let you go but you need to drink something first. (Offers two vials.)

(Both Solanna and Ingrid will take it then-cut-)

(Astrid will appear and carry Solanna’s body away, but when it time for Ingrid she’ll wake up and lunge
towards Margaret attacking her , Margaret will slap her and Astrid will lock her neck with rope until she
chokes and dies together they’ll throw her body to the well)

-cut-

(Solanna will run in the dark thinking her friends are behind her but when she turns around they’re gone
when she faces front she’ll see them all dead,she will then wakes up in front of all the cult
[Link] will cry and get angry but will be met with a hug from Alma and Emil)

Alma: (hugs Solanna from the back) shhh, shhh, shh

Solanna: You're a monster! You're all monsters! You're sick!

Emil: My child. Don't be afraid. We did what we believe was right. We saved you from wrong doings.

(Solanna will keep on crying)

Alma: Think of what happened as returning your friends to the nature, to the water.

Emil: Cry. Cry and grieve for them but when you are done just know that we're always your family.

Alma: That's right, Solanna. Family.

Vanessa: and family helps each other, they work and strive for the other

(Astrid and Margaret will step in and take the flower crown from her and place it on Solanna’s head)

Vanessa: from one person to the other( caresses her cheek) from one soul to another, a life for a life,
power for power. We are family, what’s mine is yours( kisses her forehead then leans to her ear ) and
what’s yours is mine.

(the camera will close up to Solanna with her eyes closed, when she opens it her eye color changed and
she’s hollow. “old doll plays” as the camera slowly moves away showing all the members of the cult then
black screen. Credits rolls in then -cut-)

(a new group of hikers enters and Solanna greets them with a smile)

Solanna: welcome, hikers.
