Daily Lesson Plan Week-15


Class: Early Years Stage 2 Subject: Maths Period: 30mins

Date/Day: 3-03-2025/Monday Topic: Introduction of number 45

Learning Outcome: Students will be able to recognize, count and trace the number 45.

Skills: Recognition, Tracing, Counting.


Resources: Workbook, Flashcard, LED, Real objects, Green-board, Chart paper, Pictures,
Beads.
Methodology:
• Number poem will be sung. ([Link]
• Oral drill of number 0-50 will be done with the help of number chart.
• Mental Maths Questions i.e count 5 pencils , jump 4 times, what comes after 6.
• Number 45 will be introduced by showing flashcards.
• Teacher will ask students to make tens and ones with the help of beads bar,
• Teacher will ask students to count the objects given in the Textbook.
• Teacher will explain the tracing formation of number 45 on the board.
• Students will do tracing independently on their Textbook [Link]#4

Activity: teacher will ask students to count 45 objects from the basket.

Assessment for Learning: Students will be assessed through their recognition, counting and
tracing of number 45 on their textbooks.
