Robbie Williams (Robert Peter Williams) was

born on February 13th, 1974 in Staffordshire,
England. His pop singer career started with
the hit boy band TAKE THAT. The band was
formed in 1990 and had 8 number 1 singles
the United Kingdom. However, Williams’
roguish qualities apparently led to conflict with
his fellow band members and his management. After Williams left the band
in 1995, the final TAKE THAT album “Nobody Else” was re-issued in some
markets excluding songs where Robbie Williams was the lead vocalist.
Alter leaving TAKE THAT, Williams immersed himself in the Rock and Roll
lifestyle. He had a few mishaps and his battle against drug and alcohol
addiction, during which he put on nearly 40 pounds (18 kg), was highly
publicized. At the time, the British media speculated that Williams would
not be a success as a solo singer, yet he proved them wrong. Since then,
he released 10 albums more and several songs reached the hits charts in
the United Kingdom.
