Announcement

The MNHS Graduation Ceremony is about to begin. Let me remind you to kindly turn
your mobile phones to silent mode and be courteous around by refraining from talking aloud.
Please also avoid roaming around the school campus. Thank you for your compliance.

Processional March:

Today’s celebration truly signifies the much-awaited event in every student’s life,
marking the conclusion of their educational journey in their senior high school years. Today’s
event is a day full of joy, a day about pride and accomplishments as it gives the returns to the
efforts put in by our senior high school students throughout their two years of academic
endeavors in this institution.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the 6th Graduation Ceremony of Muertegui National
High School with the theme, “K to 12 Graduates: Molded through a Resilient Educational
Foundation” Requesting everybody to please stand for the Processional March, ladies, and
gentlemen:
 the Entrance of colors,
 the Faculty and Staff,
 the Candidates for Graduation with their parents,
 the Outstanding Class of 2023 with their Parents
 the Department heads, the school head, district supervisor with the guest
speaker and guests

Opening Program:
May I request everyone to please stand for the singing of our Philippine National Anthem
to be conducted by Ms. Michaela C. Lumangca, with Honors this will be followed by the Oath
to our National Flag to be led by Mr. Michael C. Ignacio, with Honors, and remain standing for
the singing of DepEd Leyte Division Hymn, to be conducted by Ms. Hanna Jean A. Catulpos,
with Honors.
Please be seated.

Welcome Address
At this point, to formally welcome us to this morning’s celebration, please welcome Ms.
Emih Rhene E. Tuban, with high honors for her welcome address.
Thank you, Ms. Tuban for a very warm welcome.

Presentation, Recommendation, and Confirmation of the Candidates for Completion


And now the most significant moment in every graduation ceremony has come. To
present the candidates for completion, May I request our respective grade 12 section advisers.
To present the candidates for graduation for Grade 12 Asia is Dr. Cristina S. Mercader, to
present the candidates for graduation for Grade 12 Australia, is Miss Ruthea Mae B. Flores,

and to present the candidates for graduation for Grade 12 Europe is Mr. Jerwen B. Abayon.
This will be followed by the recommendation from our school head, head teacher IV, Mr. Allan
R. Valiente.

Confirmation of the Candidates for Completion


And now, to formally confirm our candidates for graduation, May I request Mr.
Diomedes P. Espina, Principal-in-Charge and San Isidro District II Supervisor.

Distribution of Diploma
Today marks another milestone in our graduate’s academic journey.
At this juncture, we shall now proceed to the most awaited moment, the fruit of hard
work, and laborious efforts after six academic years in secondary education, the distribution of
the diploma, to be hand in by our very own school head, Mr. Allan R. Valiente, San Isidro
District II Supervisor, Mr. Diomedes P. Espina and to be assisted by respective grade 12
advisers.
Ladies and gentlemen, may I present our senior high school graduates of batch 2023.

Awarding of Honors and Giving of Special Awards


Let us proceed to the awarding of certificates and medals to this year’s junior high
school honor students and achievers. The following awards and recognition are given to
graduates who exemplified the characteristics, virtues, and values that led them to be worthy of
such credit. Let us begin with, the Academic Excellence Award, this award is given to a
learner who achieved at least 90% above their general average grade and falls within the
prescribed range set by the Department of Education, Awards for Specific Discipline, these
awards are given to recognize learners in grade 12 who have exhibited exemplary skills and
achievement in specific disciplines, Special Recognition Award to our grade 12 learners
who are winners of Area and Division Contests and the Service Awards and Special MNHS
Service Awards is given to recognize the students' contribution in leadership roles and in
service to the school community (Read the Names)
Our Next award is the Service and Cooperation Award, this award is given to a learner
who exerted their support and assistance extended to the school and their respective
classrooms.

Introduction of the Keynote Speaker


Once again, congratulations to our awardees. Success is always a product of laborious
work, sacrifices, and failures. All we need is the courage to continue; and the inspiration to
move forward We are very much grateful for the presence of our highly esteemed guest who
will share with us his life stories and experiences for this remarkable day, to formally introduce

to us this year’s keynote speaker, please welcome, our Languages and EsP department head,
Master Teacher I, Dr. Cristina S. Mercader.

Inspirational Message
Thank you so much Sir Reynon Rion A. Pantuan, a proud alumnus of this institution for
sharing to us your life story and experiences. Your message truly empowers our graduates to
pursue and fight for their dreams in the coming years and strive for success. With this, allow us
to present to you this certificate and token of appreciation.
May I call in, our school head, Mr. Allan R. Valiente to hand in the certificate and the
token to our guest speaker. (Read the citation)

Words of Gratitude
Thank you once again, Sir Pantuan for accepting our invitation, at this point.
Let us hear the words of gratitude from one of our outstanding graduates, this school year,
please welcome, Ms. Irene M. Limpiado, with High Honors.
Thank you, Ms. Limpiado, for a very heartwarming message, may you shine your light
together with your fellow graduates in all your future endeavors. Thank you for your humble
appreciation for your friends, classmates, teachers, and most importantly your parents and
guardians.

Pledge of Loyalty
Next, our graduates will take an oath as a symbol of their utmost loyalty to this
institution. The Pledge of Loyalty will be led to us by Mr. Dexter Velez with Honors.

Alumni Oath
Next, to officially welcome our graduates as new members of the Alumni Association of
Muertegui National High School, Mr. Jerwen B. Abayon, Master Teacher II, our Alumni
Association Coordinator will lead the Alumni Oath to our Graduates.

Graduation Prayer
At this point, May I call on, Ms. Rose Ann Nogas, with Honors will lead the graduation
prayer for the batch 2023.

Graduation Song
In every memorable moment of one’s life, there are always songs that will embody
inferred emotions. With a round of applause, let us welcome on stage, our graduates for their
graduation song. Ladies and gentlemen, once again the graduation song of our graduates
of Batch 2023 entitled Long Live. A round of applause.

Tribute Message to Parents and Teachers

At this point, let us as one of the outstanding class members give a message to our
parents and teachers on behalf of the graduating class. Please welcome, Ms. Maria Gabriela
Lipon, with high honors for the tribute to parents and teachers.

Tribute Song
Thank you, graduates, at this very moment, and to show their utmost devoted love and
respect to their beloved parents and guardians, ladies and gentlemen, let us hear, our
graduates for their tribute song entitled “MaPa”. A round of applause.

State of the School Address


At this hour, let us be emboldened as our school head shall deliver his second State of
the School address. Please welcome, our school head, Head Teacher IV, Mr. Allan R. Valiente
for his state of school address. A round of applause.

Message from District Supervisor


Thank you, Sir Allan. And now, let’s hear another message from our very own, District
Supervisor, Principal-in-Charge of San Isidro II District, Mr. Diomedes P. Espina. A round of
applause.

Graduation Dance
Thank you very much, Sir Diomedes, for gracing our ceremony this morning, and now,
for the first time in MNHS, and for the last time, let us witness as our graduates show us their
dance performance. A round of applause.

Photo Ops
At this point, may I request our graduates to have photo ops, this will be done by
sections.
Closing Remarks
This year’s ceremony will not be possible without the relentless efforts of our graduates,
the parents’ active involvement, and the persistence of our teachers and administrators. Today,
signifies a time of completion, a successful end to an academic era.
In behalf of the educative family of Muertegui National High School, thank you for being
with us this morning, momentous occasion of our dear graduates.
As Henry David Thoreau said, “Go Confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life
you’ve imagined”.
