4. Section A carries sixteen (16) marks, section B carries fifty-four
(54) marks and section C carries thirty (30) marks

measure the distance in kilometers

5. Mr Chitemo was asked to conduct a research about loss of biodiversity at
Mkomazi Game reserve which become more serious. Mr Chitemo before visited
the area of study he decided to study different materials related to his topic.

obstacles observed were forest, pond and hill. They said that all types of

(b) Briefly describe by means of diagrams the role of wind in snapping desert
areas with respect to four erosional features.

Answer two (2) questions from this section.
9. According to the census conducted in 2022 in our country, it has observed that
there is a great variation of the total population in our regions. Explain the
environmental factors that have influenced the uneven population distribution in
Tanzania.
10. Plantation is the most common form of agriculture practiced in tropical region of
Africa, Asia and South America. Justify six (6) characteristics of plantation
agriculture practiced these areas.
11. "Most of the East Africa rivers are not suitable for navigation purpose" Justify this
statement with six points.
