Narrative Report on ALAMATH! Poster Making Contest

“Activating Learners’ Ability in Mathematics - Bridging Excellence Through the Convergence of

Skills, Talent, and Innovation in the Realm of Mathematics”

Art and mathematics may seem like two different fields, but they are deeply intertwined.
Patterns, symmetry, proportions, and geometric principles all play essential roles in artistic design.
The ALAMATH! Poster Making Contest was organized to encourage students to express their
creativity while incorporating mathematical concepts into their artwork.

This competition aimed to enhance students’ appreciation for mathematics by allowing

them to visualize mathematical ideas through artistic expression. Participants used various
elements of design, such as colors, lines, and shapes, to create compelling posters that conveyed
