Program Name: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration aims to:
1. Equip the students with critical and analytical thinking skills that enable them to
internalize and put into practice the concepts, principles, theories in the world of
business;
2. Inculcate in the minds of the students the vital role of business organizations in
promoting social interaction in attaining economic sufficiency and stability;
3. Provide students first-hand experiences of office work through practicum in order to
experience the real world in the business profession;
4. Produce graduates who will lead in the promotion and growth of business for social
and economic development; and
5. Instill research-orientedness among the students that enables them to solve
problems and issues besetting the industry.
Program Outcomes:
At the end of the Program, the BSBA graduate should be able to:
Major in Human Resource Management (HRM)
a. Perform management skills such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, leading
and controlling in various business situations;
b. Work effectively with others to provide quality service to their clients;
c. Promote camaraderie among colleagues by exercising good values and
responsiveness to others’ needs;
d. Create a business – friendly environment for strategic direction towards successful
business;
e. Innovate products that will provide livelihood to the society that will contribute to
the demands of emerging industries;
f. Decide independently on critical situations to solve business – related problems and
produces results that will help in the growth of business industries; and
g. Conduct feasibility study, business research contributory to instruction and
extension.
Major in Financial Management (FM)
a. Perform management skills such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, leading,
and controlling in various business situations;
b. Work effectively with others to provide quality service to their clients;
c. Create a business – friendly environment for strategic direction towards successful
business;
d. Complete understanding of the concepts, principles, and the theories of financial
management;
e. Help the students to seek employment and assume entry - level jobs or position of
responsibility as financial analyst, financial manager, or executives;
f. Prepare the students to pursue a teaching career or graduate studies in business; and
g. Conduct Feasibility Study, business researches contributory to instruction and
extension.
