Title:

Demonstrate non-verbal, Verbal, Written and electronic communication skills

Objective:

Objective is to show the ability to effectively and appropriately exchange information, ideas, and emotions through

various forms of communication. These skills are essential for both personal and professional development,

particularly in academic, healthcare, and work settings

Activity:

We conducted an exercise to illustrate communication through gestures in order to convey the word assigned to us.

Description:

On 20th November, 2024, I participated in a face-to-face lecture focused on communication skills. The lecture was

organized to address four essential components: non-verbal, verbal, written, and electronic communication. The

session featured interactive elements, including role-playing exercises, writing assignments, and group discussions,

designed to assist students in both comprehending and exhibiting effective communication across various platforms.

Reflection of feelings:

At first, I was excited and curious about the lecture, especially since it covered a wide topic like communication. As

the session went on, I became more involved, especially during the interactive parts. The activities let me take part
actively instead of just listening, making the learning experience more lively and relevant. I was especially drawn to

the section on non-verbal communication, as it showed the small signals that often get overlooked but greatly affect

how messages are understood.

Evaluation:

The lecture had many positive aspects. Its organized format made sure that all important parts of communication

were thoroughly addressed. Including interactive activities like role-playing and writing exercises helped keep the

audience interested and let us practice what we were learning right away. On the downside, some parts felt a little

fast, particularly during the written communication section. With more time, it would have been helpful to explore

and discuss the written tasks in greater detail.

Analysis:

The lecture was well-designed, mixing theory with hands-on practice, which helped strengthen learning. The Gibbs

model shows how important it is to connect theory with real-life situations, and this was clear in the lecture. The

activities were especially helpful in showing the details and challenges of communication. For example, the non-

verbal communication exercise demonstrated how much we express through body language and facial expressions,

which people often miss. On the other hand, the fast pace during the written communication part may have made it

harder to fully grasp how tone and clarity influence written messages. More time or extra examples for discussion

could have improved this.

Conclusion:

After thinking about the lecture, I see that it was organized and full of useful information, but there is still space to

make it better. Since the topic was so wide, it could have helped to concentrate on fewer subjects in more detail or to

allow more time for some activities. The interactive parts worked really well, and I suggest adding even more of

these to keep everyone interested and to make sure the learning goals are achieved.

Action Plan:
I would Spend more time on written communication, focusing on in-depth analysis and discussion. Use a wider range

of examples in written and electronic communication to support various learning styles. Promote more peer feedback

during activities, especially for written tasks, to gain different viewpoints and improve learning. Prepare ahead by

going over the materials and practicing the exercises for smoother delivery and better time management. Overall, the

lecture was a great learning experience that improved my understanding of communication skills and showed the

value of effective teaching methods that engage students and promote active participation.

Feedback:

The feedback I received was focused on how effectively I can communicate across various mediums and how my

skills contribute to clear, professional, and positive interaction

Title:

Demonstrate Punctuality

Objective:

The objective of the lecture is to gain insight into how punctuality affects academic, professional, and personal

success. Learn that being punctual can enhance productivity, respect, and discipline, which are essential traits

for success in any field.

Activity:

We conducted an activity that demonstrated how minor delays can influence the progression of an event or task.

Description:

On 4thth December ,2024, I attended a lecture titled "Demonstrate Punctuality," the teacher discussed differen

parts of punctuality, such as why it is important, what stops us from being on time, and how to get better at it.

The class included discussions, group work, and role-playing. We started with an icebreaker, then looked

closely at the meaning of punctuality and its significance. After that, we talked about common challenges and

shared ideas to tackle them. The session ended with hands-on activities to practice what we learned and a

question-and-answer segment to clear up any doubts.

Reflection of feelings:

At first, I was unsure about how much could be discussed regarding punctuality since it seemed so simple. But

as the lecture went on, I got more interested, especially during the group activities and role-plays. These hands-

on parts made the topic seem more useful and applicable. I was amazed at how much I learned, especially about
the different obstacles to being on time and how to deal with them. By the end of the lecture, I felt inspired to

work on my own punctuality.

Evaluation:

The lecture was structured nicely, and the teacher effectively combined theory with real-world use. The group

activities helped us reflect on our habits and find ways to enhance them. However, I think the opening talk

about punctuality could have been shorter to give us more time for hands-on exercises. The role-playing activity

was enlightening, as it made us use our knowledge in practical situations. In general, the session was both

informative and engaging.

Analysis:

The lecture helped me understand that being on time is more than just arriving at the right moment; it involves

valuing others, using time wisely, and being dependable. The talk about what stops people from being punctual

was enlightening, showing that issues like bad time management and surprises can impact punctuality. The

strategies we talked about, such as using digital calendars and creating achievable goals, appeared practical and

simple to apply. The role-playing activity was especially helpful in showing how being on time influences

relationships, emphasizing the need to be punctual in different situations.

Conclusion:

I learned from this lecture that punctuality is a skill that can be improved with the right approach and attitude.

The interactive parts of the session helped me see my own issues with being on time and how to fix them. In

future lectures, I would like more time for hands-on activities, as they gave me the best insights. I now

understand that being on time is not only a personal duty but also important in professional and social settings.

Action Plan:

I intend to adopt various strategies that were outlined during the lecture. To begin, I will utilize a digital
calendar to monitor my appointments and deadlines effectively.

Feedback:

The lecture was very informative and insightful. It helped me understand the broader significance of

punctuality, not just as a habit but as an essential aspect of professionalism and respect for others’ time

Description:

On 18th December, 2024, I attended a lecture. The lecture was part of a personal growth course designed to h

students think about their own skills. The main goal was to show us how to identify our strengths, find areas

improvement, and create a plan to boost our abilities. The lecture included topics like self-awareness, reflect

practices, and ways to evaluate our strengths (like communication and leadership) and weaknesses (such as ti

management and stress management). We also learned about tools like SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weakness

Opportunities, and Threats) for self-reflection.

Reflection of feelings:

I was a bit anxious at first about looking at my weaknesses because self-criticism can be tough. But as the lect

went on and we started to focus on our strengths, I felt more positive and involved. I was eager to discover

strengths, but I also found it challenging to think about where I could improve. After the lecture, I became m

aware of myself and motivated to focus on my personal growth. The tools and strategies shared during the sess

made me feel empowered, and I was excited to use them for further self-assessment. However, I also felt a li

overwhelmed by how much potential I had for growth in some areas.

Evaluation:

The lecture was well-structured. It combined theory with practical use, which made the material easier to conn

with. The group activity was beneficial. It helped me feel more connected in my thoughts, and listening to

classmates' strengths and weaknesses offered me fresh insights. The lecture also gave us useful tools like

SWOT analysis, which I found simple to use for my personal reflection.

Analysis:

The lecture pushed me to evaluate myself in a thoughtful and strategic way. The tools shared, such as SW

analysis, helped make my reflection organized and practical, which is important for personal growth.

Conclusion:

I discovered in the lecture that I have valuable strengths, like my communication and organizational skills. Th

abilities help me do well in team environments and lead discussions successfully. I plan to use these streng

more purposefully to enhance my personal and professional development. However, I need to work on my ti
management. I tend to procrastinate or misjudge how long tasks will take, which causes extra stress. This lect

made me see how crucial it is to manage my time effectively to prevent these issues.

Action Plan:

I intend to work on my strengths and improve my weaknesses. I will seek more leadership positions in gro

projects to boost my communication and organization skills. I will also keep attending seminars and worksh

that focus on improving these skills, like public speaking and team management.

using tools such as reflection logs to monitor progress over time. The lecture also discussed the importan

modifying goals and learning strategies based on ongoing reflection.

Reflection of feelings:

At first, I was a little skeptical about how effective reflection could be in helping me set and track goals. I felt

already had a way of organizing my tasks and studying, but as the lecture progressed, I began to see the va

being more deliberate about reflecting on my work. I felt empowered to incorporate more reflection into my lea

routine. The idea of setting measurable goals that I could track over time seemed both manageable and motivati

Evaluation:

The lecture was organized and easy to follow. The explanation of SMART goals was clear, which helped me
my bigger goals into smaller, manageable steps. I liked the emphasis on reflection logs for monitoring prog

hadn’t thought of that before, but it looks like a helpful tool for ongoing growth. The examples shared durin

lecture were relevant and made the content more useful for my school and personal objectives

Analysis:

From this lecture, I realized that reflection is a crucial part of the learning process that I had been overlooking. I

focus on the tasks at hand and don’t take time to assess how I am progressing towards my goals. By reg

reflecting, I can improve my focus, enhance my learning strategies, and ensure I stay on track. The most

takeaway was the idea of breaking down large goals into smaller, more manageable steps, which makes them

overwhelming and more achievable.

I now understand that setting learning goals is not just about deciding what I want to achieve but also about

track progress, adjust goals when needed, and reflect on my successes and challenges.

Conclusion:

The lecture helped me understand that reflection is an ongoing process that involves continuous learnin

adapting. It reinforced the importance of setting clear and measurable goals and provided me with the tools to

my progress through reflective journaling. I feel more confident about integrating reflection into my daily rout

track my learning goals and adjust my approach when necessary.

Action Plan:

I will establish SMART objectives for the forthcoming semester and utilize a reflection journal to monito

advancement. I will commit to weekly reflections on my learning objectives, making adjustments as necess

will conduct a monthly assessment of my progress to confirm that I remain aligned with my goals and impleme

required modifications. I will engage with my peers in sharing my reflection practice to foster coll

development and receive constructive feedback on my goal-setting approach

Feedback:

The lecture provided a comprehensive overview of the significance of reflection in both personal growt

academic achievement. I gained insight into how reflection serves as a crucial instrument for evaluating p

performance while also enhancing future learning approaches.
