c y_-Definition
Anecdotal records are a collection of records of
important events regarding children's attitudes
and behavior in certain situations. According to
Nugraha, 2010, anecdotal notes are written
descriptions of behavior displayed by children in
special situations. Anecdotal notes are a daily
journal that records the unique behavior of
students during the ongoing learning process,
with notes in the form of descriptions of facts,
telling of situations that occur, behavior and
speech. Apart from that, anecdotal notes can be
used to determine children’s creativity, both
positive and negative, which are then
interpreted by a teacher as material for
semester assessments (Mulyasa, 2012; 200).)
