EASTER FAIRIES (Patterns by Miss Daisy)

Materials:
100% Cotton yarn (colors from picture or the ones you prefer) gray thread for eye
embroidery, poly fil to stuff the doll, ergonomic hook of 2mm, scissors and
embroidery needle. I also used glue to attach the wig, hairs, crest, bow and wings
(instead of sewing them)

Procedure:
Knit all parts following instructions, stuff and sew according to pictures. Start
sewing head with the body. Then sew the arms (you don’t need to stuff them).
Attach the hat and hairs (see instructions) and make face embroidery. Finally
attach other details.
CHICKEN FAIRY BY MISS DAISY (2.0MM HOOK)

sc: single crochet dc: double crochet


dec: decrease hdc: half double crochet trc: triple crochet

LEGS (Make 2, start with pink)


1. 6sc into magic ring (left 6)
2. 2sc in each stitch around (left 12)
3. 12 sc (left 12)
4. 2 dec, 3 sc, 2 sc in next two stitches, 3 sc (left 12)
5. 12 sc (left 12) change to yellow
6. 2 dec, 3 sc, 2 sc in next two stitches, 3 sc (left 12)

CREST
Center piece

Side pieces (make 2)
1. 6sc into magic ring (left 6)
2-3. 6 sc (left 6)
4. 1 sc, 1 dec, 1 sc, 1 dec
Sew this pieces (or attach them with glue) to the head.

WINGS (make 2)
1. 6sc into magic ring (left 6)
2. 2sc in each stitch around (left 12)
3. 1 sc, 2 sc in next st (left 18)
4. 2 sc, 2 sc in next st (left 24)
5. 3 sc, 2 sc in next st (left 30)
6. 4 sc, 2 sc in next st (left 36)
7. Fold the piece in two like the picture and chain 7.

8. Sc in the first two stitches (like picture). Now chain 7 again and sc in the next two stitches
Remember you need to insert the hook in both sides (see pictures) Repeat this 4 times more.

9. Now you have 6 “feathers”. Crochet two more but insted of chaining 7, chain 5.
10. Work last “feather” chaining 3, and slip stitch on the remaining stitches.
HAIR
Side piece 1: Chain 10 and sc in each stitch (make two for both sides)
Side piece 2: Chain 15 and sc in each stitch (make two for both sides)

Forehead piece 1: Chain 15 and sc in each stitch


Forehead piece 2: Chain 25 and sc in each stitch. While attaching it, try to create a curl at the
end.

Secure all hairs with pins according to picture. I used glue to attach the hat and hairs beneath
the hat, but you can sew them too.
