PLATE | COMMERCIAL QUALITY AND S355JR

Commercial quality and S355JR plate is a generally flat plate material that has a thickness of 4.5mm or thicker. Plates in the “as-rolled”
(S355JA + AR) condition has gone through a rolling process and then it is cooled in static air.

Product application

This material is typically used for cutting and profiling in the engineering industry. The S355 grade’s intended use is for structural purposes.
Plates can be bolted, riveted and welded in a full range of structural and fabricated items. These items include bridges, box girders, cranes
and general structural projects.
