*Platt-KODAMA is agent-organized tour. Please be

sure to check the notes of Platt-KODAMA

Even if it is within your reserved section, you cannot

board or get off midway at any time.* Valid only for
reserved seats on reserved trains (non-reserved seats
are not available for use).
*Only Tokyo and Shinagawa stations allow boarding
and getting off at either station (only manned ticket
gates are available).

After completing your reservation, changes to other

trains or car types are not possible.

If you miss the reserved Kodama train, it will be

considered a "cancellation for your own reasons" and
no refund will be made.
However, if the JR line (excluding buses) to the
Kodama train departure station is delayed and you are
unable to board the designated Kodama, please
promptly bring your JR delay certincate and ask the
Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen station staff. (Please do
not cancel your reservation from Account Page.)

Fares for conventional lines are not included.

(e.g. Osaka Station - Shin-Osaka Station, Tokyo Station
- Shinjuku Station, etc.)

The 1 drink e-voucher is valid for 8 days from the

day of boarding (until the same day of the following
week).
Redeemable at JR TOKAI TOURS-designated station
Kiosks(*1) at Tokaido Shinkansen stations (between
Tokyo and Shin-Osaka) for one eligible drink (excludes
in-train sales and some stores). Please redeem during
business hours of each store.(*2) Redeemable stores
are with the sticker.
(*1)JR CENTRAL RETAILING PLUS stores (example
stores: Kiosk, GRAND KIOSK, DELiCA STATiON,
PLUSTA, etc.)
(*2)Business hours vary depending on the store. Also,
depending on the departure and arrival times of your
designated Kodama train, the store may not be open. If
you use an early morning train, please redeem your
voucher after the train arrives, or if you use a late night
train, please redeem your voucher during the opening
hours of each store before the train departs.

The 1 drink e-voucher is an electronic ticket that

uses 2D barcode, so you will need a smartphone or
tablet with an Internet connection.

When using the 1 drink e-voucher, you must select

an electronic ticket and scan the 2D barcode located
at the facility you are using. Please select the
electronic ticket using one of the following methods.
Method 1: Tap the URL of ticket selection screen in one
of the following emails sent by JR Tokai Tours. (No
need to enter a membership ID and password.)
1) Connrmation email sent when your reservation is
complete.
2) Ticket information email sent the day before the
boarding date. It will be sent only if the reservation is
completed by 2:59 p.m. on the day before the boarding
date.

Method 2: Log in to your Account Page and tap the

"View e-Tickets" button. (A membership ID and
password are required to log in.)

Please be sure to have your ticket screen ready when

you redeem your ticket. (Please refrain from operating
your login in front of the store's cash register). If you do
not present your ticket screen at the time of
redemption, you will not be able to use the 1 drink e-
voucher.
Select the ticket you wish to use and scan the 2D
barcode located at the facility you are using, and follow
with the staff instructions.
If the person who made the reservation and the
representative during the trip are different, the person
who made the reservation (the contract holder) should
display the 1 drink e-voucher selection screen and
share the URL with the representative during the trip.
The same procedure should be followed when sharing
with the traveling companion.
Please note that unable to accept by presenting the
reservation screen and email, or a printed matter or
screenshot of them.

Common Information
Included in the travel charge
Fares and charges for transportation,
admission/sightseeing fees and consumption tax and
service charge specined in the travel itinerary.
Unless otherwise stated, a tour conductor will not
accompany you. You are responsible for completing
the procedures for receiving travel services such as
entering and exiting the station ticket gate.
There are no tickets or other items to be shipped.
Please purchase a additional ticket for the boarding
section to the selected Shinkansen boarding station
and after the disembarking station.
* You cannot ride on conventional line in Tokyo City or
Osaka City.
The displayed travel charge includes consumption
tax and service charge.
*Unless otherwise stated, benents are limited to those
who apply for the adult and child price (except for paid
personnel).

About Shinkansen
If you apply before 7:30 a.m. one month before the
boarding date, the train number and departure / arrival
time may change due to timetable revisions and
changes in Shinkansen operation plans. Connrmed
trains and seats will be notined by e-mail
([email protected]) from Shinkansen Reservation Service
after 8:00 a.m. one month before the boarding date.
* If there is no same day in the previous month, it will
be connrmed on the 1st of the following month (e.g.
May 1 in the case of a ride on May 31).
If you apply between 11:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m. one month
before the boarding date, the train number and
departure / arrival time may change due to sudden
changes in Shinkansen operation plans. Connrmed
trains and seats will be notined by e-mail
([email protected]) from Shinkansen Reservation Service
after 5:30 a.m..
* After applying, you can change the train as many as
you like without any additional fees on the Shinkansen
Reservation Service website etc. until just before
departure. However, there may be restrictions
depending on the product type you are using.
Please note that you cannot change trains under the
following conditions after booking a tour, so please be
careful when selecting trains.
Changes between Nozomi and Mizuho
Hikari, Sakura, Kodama, and Tsubame
Changes between itineraries using only one train
itineraries transfering between 2 or more trains
Changes to a route that changes transfer stations,
Nozomi-Mizuho sections, and green car sections
* For the above reasons, it may not be possible to
change trains on some trains/sections regardless of
the product type.

When boarding or getting off Nozomi at Nishi-Akashi
Station
When boarding Hikari at a station west of Shin-
Kurashiki and getting off at a station east of Kyoto
When boarding Hikari at a station east of Kyoto and
getting off at a station west of Fukuyama (or a station
west of Shin-Kobe when boarding Odawara)
When getting on or off the Tsubame at Shin-
Shimonoseki station and getting off at Chikugo Funaya,
Shin-Omuta or Shin-Tamana station
After 10:00 a.m. one month before the boarding date,
you can change your seat on the Shinkansen
Reservation Service website etc. between 5:30
a.m.-11:30 p.m.. However, there may be restrictions on
the seats that can be changed.* After applying, it may
take some time for the reservation details to be
displayed on the Shinkansen Reservation Service
website.
When bringing Oversized Baggage with a total of
three sides (length, width, height) exceeding 160 cm on
the Shinkansen train, please specify "Oversized
Baggage Area (space/corner)" on the train selection
screen. If you do not make a reservation in advance,
you will be required to pay a carry-on fee.
*3 Luggage with sides exceeding 250 cm is not
allowed. For more details, click here.

About procedures during the trip

A tour conductor will not accompany you unless
otherwise stated. You are responsible for completing
the procedures for receiving travel services, such as
entering and exiting the station ticket gate. Please use
it as follows.
Shinkansen
After connrming your seat, please register your
boarding IC card (transportation IC card or EX-IC card)
for all participants in advance on Shinkansen
Reservation Service website, etc., and touch the
Shinkansen ticket gate.
Customers who do not have a transportation IC card,
etc. can also hold the QR-ticket displayed on
Shinkansen Reservation Service website over the ticket
gate.

Admission, meals, sightseeing facilities, rental car,
etc.
Depending on the plan, there are different ways to use
electronic tickets
(1)Electronic ticket
Please present the electronic ticket at the time of use
at the reception. Electronic tickets can be viewed from
Account Page, email, etc. after booking.
To use the electronic ticket, you need to carry a
smartphone or tablet device with a communication
environment. It cannot be used on feature phones
(usually Garakei).
(2) Reception by name
Please tell the name of the representative during the
trip at the reception desk of the target facility.
(3) Reception by reservation screen
Please show reservation screen (Account Page) at
the reception desk of the target facility.

Precautions when applying

Date of use, number of users, Shinkansen boarding
section, facilities etc. cannot be changed at all. Please
make a new reservation and cancel any unnecessary
reservations.
Cancellation operations are possible up to the start
of travel, except as stated in the cancellation charge
column.
Only for one-way and day trip products, if
cancellation charges are incurred when you cancel and
operate an unnecessary reservation due to a reduction
in the number of passengers (no change in the plan,
date of use, and section used), please contact us the
EX Travel Customer Center.
Depending on the time of cancellation, a prescribed
cancellation charge will be incurred.

(1) If the customer cancels the tour (contract cancellation) after

the tour contract has been concluded, a cancellation charge will
incurred at the above rate for the travel charge.
(2) If the departure date is changed for the customers
convenience, or if any part of the itinerary is changed, such as
transportation or accommodation (excluding changes to trains
or seats within Changeable range), it will be regarded as a
cancellation of the entire trip, and the above cancellation fee will
be charged.
If you have already received the "Shinkansen boarding pass" at
the time of cancellation, the following procedures are required
for refund.
At the station counter of JR-East, JR-Tokai, JR-West, or JR-
Kyushu, please inform them of your cancellation of both round
trip and receive "Cancellation Certincate" on all Shinkansen
boarding tickets you have received by the departure time of the
departure train.
Within one month of the departure date, please return the
"Shinkansen boarding ticket certined as cancelled" and the "Seat
information" at your expense.
If the above and cannot be connrmed, no refund of the
travel charge will be made (this applies even if you have received
only a one-way ticket).
