GTU Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre
(GTU-IPFC):
Established under the GTU Innovation Council,
GTU-IPFC serves as the central hub for nurturing a
strong IP culture among students, faculties, and
emerging startups. It offers hands-on patent clinics,
IPR training, legal and nancial support (including
SSIP and DIC -funded grants), and short-term as well
as postgraduate diploma courses in IPR. Since 2011,
the centre has conducted over 340 IP workshops,
and has supported the ling of over 500 IPs
including (Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights). It
has established the DPIIT IPR Chair, successfully
secured SPRIHA grant and also setup TISC-WIPO
Centre.

GTU R & D Cell:


The GTU Research & Development Cell has a prime
objective to align research work as per nation
priorities, industry needs and societal requirements.
There are more than 1900 PhD students and 600
plus PhD supervisors at the university. The R & D
Cell encourages collaborations with industry and R & D
organizations of national importance as well as with
International Institutions. It also looks to enhance R & D
infrastructure and increase externally funded research
projects. It regularly organizes many R & D activities to
achieve the objectives. This activity is part of this
mission to encourage research in the AI domain.
Evaluation Process:
Domain – specic committees will review
posters based on technical merit, innovation,
AI application and presentation quality. The
evaluation process will consist of primary scrutiny in
the month of August - 2025 which is followed by poster
presentation of shortlisted projects in front of Industry
and Academic experts on the day of event at GTU
Chandkheda Ahmedabad campus. It is desirable to
have demonstration along with the poster
Objectives of the Competition: presentation (5-10 minutes).

innovation Awards for each domain (mentioned below):

Registration Fees GTU PG School: No Fees
The above registration Fee includes registration of one participant during
the event. Additional interested participants will have to register separately GTU Afliated Colleges: Rs 200 /-
along with the required fees. Instructions for the same will be circulated on
short listing of posters. For other than GTU: Rs 500 /-
