Sir,
With due respect, I would like to inform you that I am the captain of ABCD School. It has been
observed that a large number of students does not have proper books for study. Some
meritorious students are also going through the problem of the shortage of books. Poor
students do not have sound financial condition to buy the books.
I, therefore,earnestly request due to arrange some specimen copies of book to help the poor
and meritorious students of our school.

Subject -Financial crisis of tea garden labour in North Bengal.
Sir/Madam,
I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a space in your esteemed daily to ventilate my
view about Financial crisis of tea garden labour in North Bengal.

Tea gardens are considered to be the assets of North Bengal as citizens of North Bengal are
proud of [Link] tea leaves depends largely on labours,but the financial condition of the
labours are very pathetic right [Link] is hard for them to make both ends [Link] receive a
very low salary from the factories and [Link] gardens are locked and closed in these
present [Link],the plight of labours are beyond [Link] a days,
Some authorities use machines to pluck leaves,as a result of that, labours are constantly
losing their respective [Link] Central govt and State govt. should be effective and
responsible to eradicate the problem as it is recorded that some labours faced premature
demise for not having [Link] is like a nightmare to them.

I, therefore, earnestly request you to draw the attention of the concerned authorities through
your newspaper and save a large number of labours from such alarming situation.

3. Write a letter to your younger sister about the importance of reading newspaper.( only body)

I have just received your letter. It is nice to hear that you are well and fine. I am little busy right
now for my upcoming summative exam, still I am replying to you. Today I want to give you a
proper suggestion. The suggestion is that you must read the newspaper regularly to update
yourself. It is your duty to read the newspaper during the time of [Link] can get the news
of sports, politics, international issues from the news paper. It is a mode of study. We can study
different source of things from newspaper. If we cannot read newspaper properly, we cannot
update ourselves. You must make a habit. You may also follow the study related topics. It is a
kind of recreation to you as it is filled with comics, crossword puzzle, riddles etc. Reading
newspaper may increase your reading habit and writing quality. It has a great beneficial value. I
have made a habit reading newspaper. Now I have to stop my writing, more will be discussed
later. Convey my best regards to mom and father.

4. Write a letter to your friend about your recent visit to a book fair.

I have just received your letter. It is nice to hear that you are well and fine. I am also fine. I'm
little busy right now for my upcoming exam, still I want to share something with you about my
visit to a book fair in the last week. Visiting a book fair is always interesting to me. This year
was not an exception. A great book fair was arranged in our town. It was beautifully decorated.I
went from one stall to another. There was a lot of books of different writers. A beautiful cultural
program was also arranged out there. It was also very good.A famous writer was invited as the
chief guest. Finally I bought three books namely Golpo 101,Tintin comics and Mon khule Aako.
My father also got a book related to the Mahabharata. It was a great experience. Next time I
expect you in this book fair. No more today, more will be discussed later. Convey my best
regards to your parents and sweet love to your sister.
