 Read the extracts and answer the questions [06]


 The Devs and Asurs were always fighting each other. The Devs
were from amongst the Gods. The Asurs were demons. The Asurs
were powerful, capable of all kinds of wickedness. Soule of them
were great rulers and mighty king. In their fight with the Devs,
Asurs had an advantage. They had on their side a great saint and
teacher, Shukracharya, who knew the mantra or magic formula
for bringing dead people back to life.

 Helen Keller became deaf and blind when she was very young.
Since she was deaf, she did not learn to speak. So her parents
were extremely worried. Then they found Miss Sullivan, a teacher
for the deaf and blind. That changed Helen’s life. Here is an
account of the turning point in her life in her own words.

decided to repent for his sin by single handedly cutting a road
through the mountain to connect the village with the rest of the
world.
