Introduction

Today the lesson we will learn is about a boy who since he was little heard about God.
and the importance of serving him.

Development of the Lesson


The Bible tells us the story of a boy named Timothy, his name means 'He who ...
"loves God," and as we mentioned earlier, little Timothy listened and
He learned about Christ, about salvation and faith; his mother Eunice and his grandmother were the teachers.

confidence in actions and prayers to God. (II Tim. 1:5).
In the Book of Acts, chapter 16, we know that Timothy lived in Lystra, he was the son of a Jewish woman,
called Eunice, who was a believer; was the son of a Greek father. Probably Lois, Eunice and
Timothy was converted through the preaching of the Apostle Paul during the first
missionary trip, Timothy was still a teenager, but his heart opened to salvation,
he opened up to Jesus. At home, they studied what they heard about Jesus, through the
writings by Paul.
After a few years, Timothy was now a young man, Paul returned to his city, it was the second
Paul's missionary journey, and everyone was giving a good testimony of Timothy's faith and actions.

having received the laying on of hands from Paul - the anointing (II Tim. 1:6)

Application of the Lesson


Timothy is an example for us; he converted as a teenager and could have done
other life options, but he preferred to learn about Christ, to exercise his faith, to be a
good soldier of Christ. He studied the word, grew in faith and knowledge of God,
he became a good soldier, equipped for the battle of evangelizing the world and warring
against evil.
Today, our challenge is our choices, what will we choose???? To follow Christ or
follow the world??? Timothy chose to serve God!
