Human Systems Research Assignment

Choose one of the ten human body systems listed below to research,
then create an educational pamphlet that explains the system in a way that
someone with no prior knowledge can easily understand.

Step One: Choose a System and Research

You can choose any system:

1. Skeletal System – bones, joints, and teeth


2. Muscular System – muscles
3. Nervous System – brain, spinal cord, and nerves
4. Endocrine System – glands that secrete hormones
5. Digestive System – stomach and intestines
6. Respiratory System – lungs and airways
7. Cardiovascular System – heart and blood vessels
8. Lymphatic System – lymph nodes and vessels
9. Urinary System – kidney and bladder
10. Integumentary System – skin, hair, and nails

After you’ve chosen your system, research:

3. How did this affect the human body?
4. Why is this system essential for everyday life?
5. How does this system interact with other systems?
6. What are some diseases and disorders associated with this system?

Step Two: Create an Educational Pamphlet

Create a pamphlet that would educate someone who knows nothing about
that system. The pamphlet should be informative, organized, and
creative. Use the provided template to help you organize your findings.

The pamphlet must include:
