Dear Hiring manager and members of the McKinsey Recruiting Team,

I am a third-year B.Com (Hons) student at Loyola College, specializing in data analysis and financial
research. I am excited about data for answering business questions, especially with my analytical
thinking, and am confident it has the right skill set to be a great Business Analyst with McKinsey. I have
shown great problem-solving capabilities through my previous internships with Zimello Wealth, where I
led market research and financial planning projects. I looked at investment strategies and made
suggestions that were helpful in improving customer portfolios. This created my ability to see a situation
or problem, offer a way to solve it, and see something of impact for our clients. I am inspired and
challenged to create lasting impacts with the principles of McKinsey at our core. I worked on financial
models and presentations during my internship that facilitated the decision-making process for clients.
This task required me to dissect and refine complex strategies and provide actionable insights from
analyses. I look forward to applying this at McKinsey to sift through data and see what the issues are, and
create transformative solutions.

I possess strong abilities related to both leadership and teamwork through my experiences with different
teams in fast-paced settings. At Zimello Wealth, I collaborated with fellow team members to produce
accurate and timely reports for clients, which contributed to successful outcomes for our teams and the
clients. I look forward to the opportunity to work together at McKinsey because global teams are essential
to solving complex problems for clients. I believe my analytical skills, passion for creating change, and
ability to collaborate as part of a team would make me a valuable contributor to McKinsey as a Business
Analyst. I would be happy to discuss my qualifications and how I can be a value add at McKinsey in an
