CHECK LIST

All selected candidates shall submit the following documents at the time of physical verification of documents
for admission/registration.

(i) Two copies of NET Examination of UGC/CSIR June, 2024 cycle score card.

(ii) Five sets of Pre-Enrolment Form

(iii) Eight copies of recent passport size photographs

(iv) Two sets of self-attested copies of the Matriculation, Higher secondary, Pre-University or Indian School Certificate
or Senior School Certificate (10+2), or an equivalent examination certificate showing the age/date of birth of the
candidate.

(v) A Character Certificate issued not later than six months from the Head of the Institution last attended or from a
Gazetted Officer.

(vi) Two self attested copies of the statement of marks obtained by the candidate in Senior School, Bachelor’s
Degree/ Master’s Degree examination etc; or their equivalent examination.

(vii) Two self attested copies of the Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s Degree.

(viii) SC/ST candidates should bring original caste/category certificate (along with two self-attested copies) as per the
format given in the JNU E-Prospectus 2024-25 in support of claim for admission against reserved quota.

(ix) OBC candidates should bring original caste/category certificate (along with two self-attested copies) as per the
format given in the JNU E-Prospectus 2024-25 in support of claim for admission against reserved quota. The
validity of the recently issued OBC Non-creamy layer certificate shall be for the financial year 2022-23.

(x) PwD candidates: should bring original Disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent
Medical Authority indicating the nature and extent (including percentage) of Physical Disability as per Disability
Act 2016. and (Form No. V, VI and VII as given in the E-Prospectus 2024-25) along with two copies of Disability
certificate.

(xi) EWS candidates: should bring original Income and asset certificate issued and certified by an officer not below
the rank of Tehsildar in the States/UTs in the prescribed format as given in the E-Prospectus 2024-25 along with
two copies of the same.

(xii) Migration Certificate (in original) from the Head of the Institution/University last attended:

a) All those candidates who have passed their qualifying examination prior to 2024 must produce the
Migration Certificate from the University from where they have passed their qualifying examination at the
time of admission/registration failing which they will not be granted admission.

b) Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination in 2024 and are not in a position to submit the
Migration Certificate at the time of admission, should submit the same as early as possible, but not later
than 14th March, 2025 failing which the University reserves the right to cancel their admission.

(xiii) You have to online file Anti-Ragging undertaking at the link -

email with reference number. Make a PDF of the email and thereafter, upload the same on the appropriate place

Guidelines for the students to fill the online Anti-Ragging undertaking:

(xiv) Candidates pursuing full time studies from other University/Institution are required to submit discontinuation
certificate along with migration certificate at the time of registration/admission, failing which admission shall not be
granted. They are also required to submit the Migration Certificate subsequently within the stipulated time.

(xv) Internet downloaded mark sheets, migration certificate etc. have to be authenticated/signed by
Principal/Competent Authority of the college/university/institution.

(xvi) The admission of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from a Foreign University will be
subject to their qualification being found equivalent to the qualifications prescribed by the University.

(xvii) The candidates, enjoying employed status and selected for admission to any programme of study in the
University, are required to produce LEAVE SANCTION ORDER/RELIEVING ORDER AT THE TIME OF
ADMISSION/ REGISTRATION from their employer for the duration of the programme permitting them to pursue
their studies at the University, failing which the offer of admission shall stand withdrawn. In case of resignation,
the candidates are required to submit Relieving Order from their employer at the time of admission/registration.

(xviii) Ph.D. admission under NET (UGC/CSIR/GATE: self attested score card).

(xix) Ph.D. admission under JRF category : self attested JRF certificate within validity of dates for the fellowship mentioned in the
JRF certificate.

(xx) Online payment while filling up the pre-enrolment portal for accepting the offer of admission:

(xxi) Following documents will be submitted by the candidate (in original) at the Admission Counter in a separate
envelope while taking admission/registration:

a) Provisional Certificate of the qualifying examination


b) Migration certificate
c) Character Certificate
d) Anti-Ragging undertaking
e) Discontinuation certificate/Relieving order if working

(xxii) All the selected candidates have to upload the necessary certificates in the pre-enrolment portal while accepting
the offer of admission.

Important: The candidates, will be allowed to register only IN PERSON. No request for registration other than
in person shall be accepted. The candidates are also required to produce all originals of the above
certificates/documents for verification at the time of registration/admission. In the absence of any
of the original certificates/documents, registration/admission shall not be allowed.
