Rationale National Students' Day is an important occasion to
recognize the contributions and role of students in shaping the
future of society. Celebrated annually in November, this 2-days
event provides a space for students to connect, socialize, and
unite. Moreover, the event fosters camaraderie, cooperation,
and a sense of responsibility toward one another.
This event provides an opportunity for students to engage
in meaningful discussion, share ideas, and celebrate their
collective achievements. It also serves as a platform for raising
awareness about the challenges students face, while encouraging
collaboration and mutual support. By bringing together learners
from diverse backgrounds, National Students' Day promotes
unity, understanding, and a shared commitment to building a
better future.
Aside from that, National Students' Day will feature a
Laro ng Lahi competition, which aims to help the new generation
become more aware of traditional Filipino games. This activity
not only promotes physical activity and teamwork but also
highlights the cultural significance of these games in shaping our
identity as Filipinos. It also serves as a way of propagating the
importance of promoting and integrating these traditional games

cultural heritage for future generations.
National Students' Day serves as an important occasion
for recognizing the role of students in shaping society, while also
promoting cultural awareness. Through activities like the Laro ng
Lahi competition, the event not only strengthens camaraderie
and teamwork among students but also encourages a deeper
understanding of Filipino traditions. By integrating these
traditional games into modern-day celebrations, we help ensure
that our cultural heritage remains alive and relevant for future
generations.
Objectives a) Promotes Student Unity- To provide a platform for
students to connect, socialize, and strengthen their sense
of community, fostering camaraderie and cooperation
among learners.
b) Celebrate Filipino Culture- To raise awareness about
traditional Filipino games through the Laro ng Lahi
competition, promoting cultural pride and appreciation
among students and ensures that these games remain
relevant and part of our cultural identity even in
contemporary society.
c) Encourage Physical Activity and Teamwork- To engage
students in physical activities that not only promote health
but also develop teamwork, leadership, and collaboration
skills.
Description It is increasingly important to celebrate National
Students' Day, as it provides an opportunity to recognize the vital
contributions of students to society, foster unity among learners,
and promote cultural heritage. In a rapidly changing world, such
observances help reinforce the value of education, tradition, and
collaboration for the future.
Aside from that, students in this generation, heavily
influenced by modern technology, are often not exposed to
traditional Filipino games due to the prevalence of gadgets and
digital entertainment. Through this event, we aim to introduce
various Laro ng Lahi (traditional Filipino games) and, by
encouraging students to play them, help raise awareness of our
