As teachers, we’re always on the lookout for ways to make our lessons more engaging and
meaningful for our students. Canva, as many of you might already know, is a fantastic tool for
creating visually appealing and dynamic materials. Today, I’ll show you how we can use it to
breathe new life into our lesson exemplars, turning them into powerful tools for learning.

So, let’s open our minds to new possibilities, and explore how Canva can make our teaching
even more impactful! Let’s get started!

What comes into your mind when you read/hear the word Creativity?

How about innovate?

Okay, so everyone of us has a diverse perspective about these two.

How do the words and ideas connect to each other?

 Creativity is often the starting point for innovation.


 While creativity focuses on generating ideas, innovation emphasizes applying those ideas
to create tangible changes or improvements.

 Words like implementation, experimentation, and problem-solving often serve as bridges


between the two concepts.

 Without creativity, innovation becomes stagnant or repetitive, relying on established
methods rather than new possibilities.

Example: A creative idea like a new teaching method leads to an innovative curriculum that
improves student engagement.
