A Game by Shenbot Makes

Components
● Dungeon Run: Pocket Map Book
● 1x Deck of Monster Cards
● 1x Deck of Treasure Cards
● A writing implement (e.g. pen, pencil, burnt stick)

Setup
1. Choose a random map from the Map book.
2. Shuffle the Monster cards and deal our 4 next to each other. From left to right these are
Monsters with Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 respectively.
a. If you are playing a Mega Map, draw 8 Monsters.
3. Shuffle the Treasure cards to create the Treasure deck.

How to Play
1. Start at the Stairs on the Map.
2. You may move to any adjacent square that is not a wall.
3. If you occupy the same space as a Monster, resolve Combat.
4. If you occupy the same space as a Treasure, resolve Loot.

End of the Game


You may leave the Dungeon at any time. Leaving the Dungeon ends the game. Your VPs at the
end of the game become your final score.

Losing All Your Health


If your character reaches 0 HP, you immediately leave the Dungeon, carried out on a stretcher
by some Hospital Goblins. Your final score is automatically 0 VPs. Your hospital bill, however.
Phew! What an amount.

Combat
1. Compare your current Level to the Level of the Monster.
2. Use the table below to resolve Combat. The values in the table are examples, but the
key thing to focus on is if the Monster’s Level is less than, equal to, or greater than
yours.
3. Cross out the Monster on the Map.

Levels HP VP LVL

You > Monster No change. No change. No change.

You = Monster No change. +1 VP No change.

You < Monster Monster Level - Your +2 VP +1 LVL


Level = Damage to You

Loot
Draw the top card from the Treasure Deck.

Fairies (Dungeon Run: Pocket - Mega Map)


If you occupy the same space as a Fairy, you must choose your reward from the list (HP, VP,
LVL). Move from left to right as you choose your reward. For example, your first reward is +1
HP, +2 LVL, +4 VP, and last is +7 HP.
