Write commands for the operations (i) - (iii) based on the data given

>=75 [Link] (A)
>=50 Good (B)
>=35 Pass (C)
And marks below 35 Fail (F)
Solution:-
 Open the window

 Click On The Start Button And Then Click “All Programs”

 Go to Microsoft office and Open ‘Microsoft Excel’

 Microsoft Excel
 Go to insert and click on Table, or you may simply press (Ctrl+T)
to draw a table.

 Write serial no. in column1 with in the table,or you may drag
with the help of two cell,to get serial no. up to 11.
 Now write all the data given in the question.

 We can see, the name of the students are not completely

shown in their cell, so we have to select all the name and click
on “Wrap Text”
 Now we have to calculate the total marks of Rohit Kumar.
SUM: This function adds all the numbers in a range of cells.
SYNTAX: - SUM (number1, number2, ….)

 Drag his total, upto the total of Rakesh Dutt, to get the total of
all the students.
 Now to calculate Percentage we have to simply write a formula
as: =Total(Cell reference)/500*100 and drag along with the
column upto the last student as same as we have done already
in case of totaling.
 We need one more column for Grade, So we simply click right
button of the mouse then go to insert and click on “Table
column to the right”
 Now to fill Grade we have to apply a condition as shown below:
=IF(J3>=90,"Brillient (A+)",IF(J3>=75,"[Link]
(A)",IF(J3>=50,"Good (B)",IF(J3>=35,"Pass (c )","Fail"))))

 Now grab the condition along with the same column upto the
last student as we have already done in the case of totaling.
 The table has completed. Now we have to rename it.
(i) Right click on the sheet name which is above the ‘Status
bar’, and go to rename.
(ii) Rename as “STUDENT RECORD”

 Sheet1 is renamed as ‘STUDENTS RECORD’.

 For inserting diagram we have to follow the process given
below:
(i) Go to insert and click on bar diagram

(ii) Right click on the chart area and then click on ‘Select Data’.
(iii) Click on ‘Add’ which is at the left of pop up window.

(iv) Write ‘Percentage’ in series name and select ‘Percentage

Column’ in Series values.
(v) Click on edit which is at the right of pop up window and select
the name of all the students in it and then click ok.

(vi) Now you can see a bar diagram showing the Percentage of all
the students.
 Now you can also draw a multibar diagram, by follow the same
process as in the simple bar diagram. In this, you can show the
marks of the entire subject scored by the students.
 Click on insert and go to bar diagram.
 Select multibar diagram.
 Right click on Chart Area and then click on ‘select data’.

 Click on ‘Add’ where we put data.

 In case of simple bar diagram we put single data but here
we have to put ‘Marks of all the subjects’.
 Now in series name we have to write the name of all subjects
and in series values we will show their respective numbers.
 Now click on edit and fill the name of all the students in it.

 Our multibar diagram is ready, now we can fill colour in it.

 Select the chart area in which you want to colour, click to
home then click ‘fill colour’ and finally select the colour and
press enter.
 We can also draw a pie chart by follow the same process as we
follow in simple bar diagram and multi bar diagram.
 The students Record has completed, Now before existing the
excel you must save your data with a proper name.
