🎯 TOPIC 1: What is Vietnam’s National Day and Why is it Important?

✅ Script:
Hello everyone!
Today, I want to talk about Vietnam’s National Day — a very special day for every
Vietnamese person.
National Day is on September 2nd. On this day in 1945, something amazing
happened. At Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh read the
Declaration of Independence. He said that Vietnam was now a free and
independent country, no longer under the rule of the French or Japanese.
It was a historic moment. Thousands of people listened to him speak. They
cheered, clapped, and felt so proud. From that day, Vietnam started a new
chapter — a chapter of freedom.
Every year on September 2nd, we remember this important event. We hang the
red flag with a yellow star, we watch parades, and we feel proud of our
country’s journey.
To me, National Day means freedom, unity, and hope. It reminds me that we
must love and protect our country, just like the heroes before us did.
Thank you for listening! I’m proud to be Vietnamese!

✅ Script:
Hi everyone,
Let me tell you a story about a great man and an important moment in Vietnam’s
history.
His name is President Ho Chi Minh — we also call him Uncle Ho. On
September 2nd, 1945, he stood in front of thousands of people at Ba Dinh
Square in Hanoi. There, he read the Declaration of Independence.
In his speech, he said something powerful: “All men are created equal.” These
words came from the American Declaration, but Uncle Ho used them to speak for
Vietnam. He said we had the right to be free, independent, and equal.
After that speech, Vietnam was no longer a colony. We became a country of our
own.
Uncle Ho worked very hard for our people. He was simple, kind, and very smart.
He didn’t live in a big house. He wore simple clothes. But he had a big dream —
to make Vietnam free.
Today, we remember him as a national hero. And on National Day, we
remember the speech that changed our country forever.
Thank you, Uncle Ho. And thank you, everyone, for listening!

Hi everyone,
This year is special — it’s the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day. Let’s
look back and see how far we’ve come.
In 1945, Vietnam was just starting as a free country. Life was very hard. The
country was poor, many places were destroyed by war, and people didn’t have
much.
But now, in 2025, things are very different!
We have modern cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with tall buildings, fast
roads, and new trains. We have good schools, hospitals, and technology.
More people are living better lives. Our culture is growing, and we are making
friends with countries around the world.
In sports, in science, in business — Vietnamese people are doing great things!
I feel proud when I see how strong and smart our people are. I feel lucky to be
part of the new generation — the generation that will continue building Vietnam.
After 80 years, Vietnam is not just free — we are also growing and shining!
Let’s keep going!
