2. Notes and Assumptions

The consultancy period is expected to last 30 working days (6 calendar

weeks).
 All travel will be within South Sudan, based on IFED's approval and
accessibility.

Professional fee is based on daily engagement including field visits,

stakeholder consultations, analysis, and reporting.

Accommodation and meal costs are calculated based on standard per diem
rates in field locations.

This financial proposal is exclusive of applicable taxes or withholding unless

otherwise agreed.

1. Introduction

Effective seed system management is essential for ensuring seed quality, traceability,
and timely delivery across the value chain. Currently, seed tracking and business
processes in South Sudan face challenges due to manual systems, weak data
coordination, and limited digital tools for seed companies.

The consultant will carry out the following:

Conduct a needs assessment with IFED and selected seed companies to

define software requirements.

Develop and test a web-based and/or offline-capable software tool that

supports:
