SLEEPERS
Bhayshul Tuten, RB, Jaguars
Tuten was one of my favorite pre-draft sleepers, ranking top six
among 31 Combine RBs last year in yards after contact per
attempt, missed tackles forced per attempt, and breakaway rate.
I like him even more post-draft. Tuten got nice draft capital,
going early Round 4 as the seventh RB off the board. And he
landed with HC Liam Coen, who just led the Bucs to top-four
finishes in rushing yards and yards per attempt. Coen and new
GM James Gladstone have no allegiance to RBs Travis Etienne
and Tank Bigsby.
- Jared Smola, Draft Sharks

D.J. Giddens, RB, Colts

Giddens is undervalued in rookie drafts due to the perceived
lack of immediate opportunity. His college productivity was very
good as a sophomore and junior. He ranked right behind fourth-
round RBs Bhayshul Tuten and Cam Skattebo in yards per team
play. He should provide considerable contingency value during
his rookie contract. While the expectation isn’t an immediate
starting role, drafting Giddens in later rounds offers future equity.
He’s the perfect pick for managers who prioritize future potential
RB usage over instant opportunity.

SLEEPERS
Brashard Smith, RB, Chiefs
A seventh-round pick isn’t likely to make a fantasy impact. But
this seventh-rounder has a few things going for him: Smith’s a
speedy pass-catcher who converted from receiver to spend
2024 as SMU’s workhorse. The speed (4.39-second 40 time) and
receiving (108 college receptions) make him different from what
already resides in K.C.’s backfield. If Smith impresses this
summer, he could earn a pass-catching role to complement Isiah
Pacheco as soon as this season. And the Chiefs have showed us
over the past three years that they’re willing to present
opportunity to Day 3 RBs who earn it. Pacheco arrived in Round
7 in 2022; Carson Steele as an undrafted free agent in 2024.
- Matt Schauf, Draft Sharks

Jaylin Noel, WR, Texans

It's possible that Jaylin Noel outproduces his Iowa State
teammate Jayden Higgins at the NFL level. The Texans took
both WRs on Day 2 of the draft, but I'm still bullish on Noel
carving out a long-term role in the slot. There’s a roadblock in
Year 1 with veteran Christian Kirk in the way, likely deflating
some of Noel's immediate value in dynasty circles. Noel's adept
at finding soft spots in zone, and his 4.39 speed will be on
display as a chain-mover. At the end of the second round of your
rookie drafts, I'm still in.

SLEEPERS
Kyle Williams, WR, Patriots
Williams grades out as this class’ No. 4 WR in my modeling
system, behind Travis Hunter, Tetairoa McMillan, and Luther
Burden. He has a 17-year-old breakout age at UNLV and two
strong seasons at Washington State in 2023 and 2024. On film,
he’s one of the best separators and route runners in this class.
Stylistically, I compared him to Stefon Diggs before the draft,
who has very similar size, speed, and analytical profile (and now
they are teammates). The last fun tidbit I will leave you with is
this: my WR modeling system is a summation of 14 analytical
baselines. Since 2017, there have been five WRs drafted in
Round 3 with 10+ baselines hit: Chris Godwin, Kenny Golladay,
Michael Gallup, Jalen Tolbert, and now Kyle Williams. Three of
those four receivers have posted 1,000-yard seasons, with
Golladay and Godwin posting multiple 1,000-yard seasons.
- Addison Hayes, DLF

Kyle Williams is more likely to lead his team in targets than

Emeka Ebuka, Jayden Higgins, or Luther Burden. And his offense
will probably produce more total targets than Matthew Golden's.
Drake Maye has a unique trait in his ability to throw with
anticipation to all areas of the field. That might just unlock huge
production for New England's Round 3 receiver. The Washington
State film showed Williams creating separation on a variety of
routes for an offense incapable of facilitating the necessary
throws to capitalize.
- Jacob Gibbs, CBS Sports
SLEEPERS
Elic Ayomanor, WR, Titans
I thought Ayomanor had a shot at late Round 2 or Round 3 draft
capital. He fell to the fourth, but I like the landing spot in
Tennessee. Their WR depth beyond 30-year-old Calvin Ridley
includes: Van Jefferson, Tyler Lockett, Treylon Burks, and fellow
rookie Chimere Dike. The Titans selected Dike 33 spots ahead of
Ayomanor, but Ayomanor is the younger player with better size
and a much better production profile.
- Kevin English, Draft Sharks

Jalen Royals, WR, Chiefs

Royals fell to the end of the fourth round but ended up paired
with HC Andy Reid, one of the best offensive minds in the
league. One of my comps to Royals is Rashee Rice, an electric
weapon after the catch with the ball in his hands. Now, Royals
get to backup Rice, who likely faces a suspension at some point
over the next two years. With Hollywood Brown and JuJu Smith-
Schuster on one-year deals, Royals could crack the lineup by
2026 and show off the elite athleticism that drew me to him.
- Shane Hallam, Draft Sharks
BUSTS
Shedeur Sanders, QB, Browns
I should not have to write this guy up. But I’ve checked multiple
spots and found that too many rankers and drafters are choosing
to ignore what the NFL and the Browns just told us. The league
said with actions: He’s not good enough. If he were, then 32
teams would not have pushed him off to Round 5. The Browns
more specifically told us they prefer Dillon Gabriel. If that weren’t
the case, they wouldn’t have taken him two rounds earlier – with
Sanders very available. NFL teams don’t pass on promising QBs
because they interview poorly. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin has
collected headcases at WR – clinical samples – and he’s scared
of Sanders’ attitude? Gimme a break. Please pass on Sanders in
your superflex rookie draft. And snag Gabriel … which you can
probably do later than you should be able to.
- Matt Schauf, Draft Sharks

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns

The Browns completely neglected a glaring need at offensive
line and instead drafted two RBs and two QBs. Cleveland has
one of the league's worst offenses on paper, and so I'm not all
that inspired by the idea of drafting their early-down RB for
fantasy. Cleveland's Round 4 RB, Dylan Sampson, is really good.
He could split work with Judkins. I feel better drafting R.J. Harvey
in a much better offense.
- Jacob Gibbs, CBS Sports
BUSTS
Matthew Golden, WR, Packers
I can’t get on board with Golden, even after going Round 1.
Analytically, Golden’s profile is very weak. And then there’s the
issue of the landing spot. This is a team that we know has played
the WR-by-committee approach for multiple years since trading
Davante Adams. I don’t think this receiver room will change at all
in terms of its approach to playing time and target shares.
Remember, Golden is a player who could not stand out on his
own on two different college teams at Houston and Texas. He
NEEDED Isaiah Bond to get hurt in 2024 to have the four best
games of his career. I understand people will gravitate to Golden
because of the first-round draft capital. But we have also seen
numerous first-round WRs fail: Quentin Johnston, Jahan Dotson,
Jalen Reagor, Kadarius Toney, N’Keal Harry, just to name a few.
- Addison Hayes, DLF

The Packers finally draft a WR in the first round… and I’m

unimpressed. Golden ran a 4.29 40, leading WRs at the
Combine. He flashed his zone-beating talent in the College
Football Playoff this year, but he never led his team in receiving.
Even at Houston. He likely fills the Christian Watson role with the
ability to catch deep passes and be used on end-arounds. But I
don’t see the Packers, even with slightly more passing, moving
away from spreading the ball around. They also drafted WR
Savion Williams, who fills a similar role. I foresee Golden being an
inconsistent fantasy presence, even if he helps the Packers in
real life.
- Shane Hallam, Draft Sharks
BUSTS
Jack Bech, WR, Raiders
The tape grinders love this guy. But Bech’s production profile is
ugly. He totaled 835 receiving yards across his first three college
seasons. And his 2024 “breakout” actually wasn’t that
impressive. His 31.6% Dominator Rating ranked 18th among 49
Combine WRs; his 2.44 yards per route ranked 23rd. Bech will
get pushed up in rookie drafts because of the perceived
immediate opportunity in Las Vegas. But I’m not sure he’s good
enough to take advantage.
- Jared Smola, Draft Sharks

I’m aligned with Jared here. I’m also questioning whether Bech
has the speed/separation ability to become an NFL difference-
maker. In Vegas, I think he settles in as a complementary piece
for run-leaning HC Pete Carroll and OC Chip Kelly. Ashton Jeanty
(age 21) and Brock Bowers (22) are immovable roadblocks over
the long term.
- Kevin English, Draft Sharks
BUSTS
Tyler Warren, TE, Colts
Warren poses significant risk in rookie drafts as a mid-to-late first-
round pick in TE-premium formats. Betting on Warren requires
expecting an elite outcome. Anything less would likely be a
disappointment considering the opportunity cost of passing on
other prospects. Warren’s late college breakout (fifth year) and
advanced age (23) are real concerns. Compounding the issue is
that the Colts' offense features established 20% target share
receivers in Josh Downs and Michael Pittman, paired with QB
Anthony Richardson, whose "receiving points created" has been
the lowest in the league since 2023.
- Scott Connor, DD Fantasy Football

Mason Taylor, TE, Jets

There seems to be a disconnect between what the NFL thinks
about Taylor and the player I watched on film. The second-round
draft capital might lend you to elevate him in your mind, but with
the lowest yards per reception (10.1) in this class and an
alarmingly high pass-blocking rate of 16.7%, I have some red
flags considering he wasn't a tackle-breaking machine. Over the
last decade, the only TEs drafted in Rounds 1 & 2 with a lower
yards per team pass attempt than Taylor's 1.09: Drew Sample
and Brenton Strange. The opportunity is there for Taylor to step
into an every-down role, but the low-volume Jets passing offense
is not one I'm buying into. It's also quite likely this team starts all
over again at the QB position a year from now.
