Have you been blacklisted ever? (check here)

What’s the reputation of your IP? (check here)

Do you have your DMARC and DKIM in place? (check here)

Do you have a sub 5% bounce rate?

Do you have a custom tracking domain?

Do you rotate your inboxes?

Are you warming up your inboxes?

Are your emails verified?

Are you adding video/images/gifs in your emails?

Do you have a plain text signature?

Are you using a sequencer or a CRM to send your emails?

Are you personalizing your emails beyond first name?

Are you using spammy words?


Are you sending more than 200 emails a day?

Do you keep a good ratio of sent vs received emails?


Are you A/B testing?

Do you have a profile picture in your email?

Are you sending all the emails at once (blasting)?

Are you adding HTML (code) in your emails?


Are the emails coming from a generic inbox or a human one?

In short
These should be your average numbers:

1. Open rate: Above 60%


2. Reply rate: Above 5%
3. Bounce rate: Below 5%
4. Unsubscribe: Below 10%

If any of these metrics isn’t right then you have a


deliverability problem and you need to go through the
checklist to diagnose and address.
