Pupils’ Prior Knowledge Pupils know some common sports (e.g. football,
swimming) and have shared personal experiences in
sports before.

Learning Objectives By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
(SMART) 1. List at least 6 sports and categorise them under the
correct headings (extreme, water, winter, team,
individual).
2. State which sport they want to try and give at least 1
reason using a speaking frame.
