Alumni Association

An alumni association is an organization formed by graduates or former students at a

particular school, college, or university. The purpose of an alumni association is to promote

the interests and welfare of the institution, maintain and strengthen ties between alumni,

and facilitate communication between alumni and the school.

Alumni associations typically engage in activities such as organizing alumni events and

reunions, providing career networking opportunities for alumni, raising funds for the

institution through donations, and promoting the achievements of alumni. Alumni

associations may also provide scholarships or grants to current students, offer mentoring

programs, and support various initiatives of the school.

Membership in an alumni association is usually open to all graduates or former students of

the institution, and dues or fees may be required to support the activities of the

organization. Alumni associations are often led by a board of directors or executive

committee and may have a staff to manage day-to-day operations

Women.

based on their expertise and interests.

 The Alumni Relations Office oversees the implementation of this policy.
