Graduation Requirements
English: 4 Credits Unweighted GPA: 2.0
Math: 4 Credits (Algebra 1, Geometry,
+2 Math Credits
Science: 3 Credits (Biology, +2 Science Credits)
Social Studies: 3 Credits (World History, U.S. History, Reading Testing Requirement:
Government/Economics
Pass FAST Grade 10 ELA Reading or concordant
Personal Financial Literacy & Money Management: (ACT/SAT/CLT)
.50 Credit (current 9th, 10th, 11th)
World Language: 2 Credits in same language
Physical Education: HOPE 1 Credit Math Testing Requirement:
Pass B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 EOC or concordant
Practical/Performing Arts: 1 Credit (ACT/SAT/CLT/PSAT/Geometry EOC)
Electives: 6 Credits
Virtual Learning Platforms
Duval Flex: Students needing to take an approved course online during the
school year will use the Duval Flex platform. Instructions to sign up can be
find on the DA school counseling website.
Florida Virtual School (FLVS): Approved summer courses can be taken on
FLVS. Make sure your school is set to Douglas Anderson in your account
profile.
New graduation requirement: Personal Finance and Money Management
(.5 credit)
