Food is an important part of everyone’s life.
It’s so important it made its mark by becoming one of
the basic needs for all living organisms. When I talk about food, you must be thinking of pizzas,
burgers and whatnot. I’m talking about the food which is actually important for our bodies, unlike
the fatty, high calorie junk foods. I’m talking about Nutritious food.
But before we take a bite of this delicious knowledge, let me introduce myself. I am XYZ from class
ABC, Division DEF.
Nutritious food. All of you have heard this word from nursery, or probably since you’ve learned to
eat. Constant reminders from our parents to eat nuts once a while, have an apple, to eat salad
instead of pasta, and in return we give scornful looks, which is interrupted by a stern talking to.
Today, let me explain about this term, which is constantly being ignored by children around the
world.
First of all, what is nutritious food? For you all, it’s probably the food you reluctantly eat. But under
those despised leafy greens, and those tomatoes we all loathe, there is goodness, and by that, I
mean all the healthy nutrients we get from such types of food.
